BarcaBlood: I suggest you ask someone abroad to pay for you and then you refund the money. You will need to give the person access to your log in details. |

mamawa123: I complete my studies in Uk 2015. I then applied for visit visa to attend my graduation in 2016 and was given 6 months visa, although i stated i will be staying in uk for 10days but i ended up staying 5 months, i came back before my visa expired. In 2017 i applied, although i just started working, i was refuse base in several reasons 1. i stayed 5 months instead of 10 day. my salary was not reflexing on my statement of account. etc. If i apply again next year do i have a chance of geting a visa. or i should wait for 10years and re apply without mentioning the refusal. thanks |

stKorea:When did you apply? I think the money in you have in your closing balance is low, if you say you want to send 2.1m naira, I think you should have the same in your bank account if not more IMO. You could have stated how much of the deposable fund you have saved as well. I am still awaiting my decision too however. Summary - you stated you want to spend about 2m but your closing balance is 100k. 1 Like |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by stKorea: 3:00pm On Jul 08 |
Amazoner01: I submitted 2 statement, 1 is my savings which has over 5m and which I'll be using to fund the trip while the other is just mere salary acct with the closing balance of 100k.. The eco guys didn't consider the savings but they just look at my salary acct which is less relevant, I also told them I'll be using the money in my savings to fund the trip not salary acct o |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Amazoner01: 3:05pm On Jul 08 |
stKorea:Yeah the VO could have missed that. I don’t know if an appeal could be made. Could also have worth if you have stated how the excess from your salary account has accumulated in your savings. So it doesn’t seem like a huge deposit. |

Did you explain how you accumulated the amount In your savings? Looking at how much you earn vs how much you want to expend on this trip could b a cause of concern. Next time you may want to build up the amount in ur salary account till you get to the desired balance and invest the excess as opposed to leaving it in a savings again. Or you can also print longer than 6months statement to show the build up duration of the balance. That's assuming you did not have a lump sum lodgement stKorea: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Malevonent: 5:59pm On Jul 08 |
stKorea: 2 issues are plain.. 1. Your planned expenditure on the trip is about your 10 months income, based on ur monthly salary...this is a big cause of concern to uk people as they cant understand how someone wud spend 10months wages on vacation. 2. He may have missed your second bank statement... The beauty of the UK application is that you are given room to explain...so next time you can take a sheet of paper and explain other things you wish them to understand better... I know someone who works in a bluechip company and was paid his january upfront...which was clear on his statement, but the VO didnt understand..and he didnt explain the inflow via a note...hence he was denied as well... However in your case, your monthly income is my major concern and likely why you were denied. |

donteebalo: Royal air Marco is like the Lagos Molue passengers yellow bus. I flew on it in 2017, and I don’t think I will do it again unless they have a price promotion going on and the price is ridiculously cheap. In any case, regardless of the airline we choose, safety is the main priority. 2 Likes |

Please advise, I want to sponsor my Kid to come for a visit during school holiday. I am on a vacation, I came in earlier, will be going back to accompany her once the visa is approved, we intend to return back together. I have gotten an Invitation letter from a British family, I’m not the one inviting her, I’m just going to accompany her, kindly know that she has been to Uk once. What’s your advice? Should I go ahead knowing that I am in the Uk at present, for vacation. |

aderemi166: You said you're currently on vacation in the UK, but you will come back home to get your child if his or her visa is approved and then travel back to the UK with your child for vacation. While I don't think you're lying, the VO might not find your story convincing because it resembles that of someone planning to relocate permanently to the UK with their family while they are on a visiting visa. Anyway, you can try your luck. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nnekkyneks: 8:20am On Jul 09 |
It will be very tough IMO How much do you earn, do you earn so much that you would want to spend so much? Why did you not apply at the same time? What's strong ties do you have? Do you have travel history of vacationing together? How long is you vacation that you want to break it come back and go back? Remove all emotions step back and access this assuming you are the ECO. My 2 cents aderemi166: 1 Like |

aderemi166: How long are you currently planning to stay on your vacation? If granted, how long would you want your child to stay in the UK on vacation? Are you employed or self employed? Why don't you want to stay in Nigeria with your child during the application process? Extend the period of leaving the UK before returning. |
