Kobojunkie: What on earth are you saying? Did you go through the law? Tenure elongation is the consequence of not conducting an election. Again, the use of CTC like Sim just did has deprived the people of their right to elect their choice. Have a blessed day. |

ZIAZI:Consequence? In which land is that a consequence of that? Why do you lot fail to reason your existence well for Pete's sake...how can an Obviously criminal act be considered a "consequence' of what is an unconstitutional act carried out by a governor? No be brain damage you dey talk so? This is why I say the average Nigerian have been existing as zombies in their own democratic system. |

Kobojunkie: What do you mean by criminal act? What is criminal about making a law? Words have meaning, you know?I called it a piece of beautiful legislation because it was created to support the intent of Section 7(1) CFRN 1999 as amended, which holds that LG Chairmen MUST be democratically elected. By the way, why aren't you responding to the issue like a learned mind? You keep making reference to inconsequential subjects. |

phantom: Enya, daziri eli. And the Sim you've touted to be a saint is tolling the same part? Wow! So you now believe all of them are the same thing? By the way, your Sim might not be in office to see the proposed election manifest. You're playing with the powers that be. In Nigeria's kind of politic, ALL IS FAIR. |

ZIAZI:This is why Nigerians must educate themselves on their Constitution but they refuse to do even that. 1. The moment those men switched parties, they ceased to be elected lawmakers and became impersonators/fraudsters impersonating lawmakers. Read your constitution! 2. Making laws while impersonating a lawmaker is a crime. 3. It cannot be said to support that which it contravenes. Term elongation contravenes the decision and power of the electorates whom you don't seem to care much about. 4. Learned mind? Inconsequential? Please get yourself educated so your politicians don't continue to sell off your future and destiny with this nonsense you spew on their behalf!

Kobojunkie: Now you're saying something relevant! It would be my pleasure to enlighten you. I agree with the law you cited, but does it apply in this case? Even APC has come out to say that they are not their members or are you not aware that they were not received at the ward level? Are you aware that their names are not in the Register of Members of the APC? Are you aware that Counsel to PDP (National) applied to be joined in a suit where he clearly stated that these guys are still in PDP? The wheel of justice is propelled by evidence! Moving on, assuming without conceding that they defected, have the courts stated that their seats are vacant?? A State High Court gave the above order without recourse to its lack of jurisdiction. This kangaroo order gave pseudo-legitimacy to Oko Jumbo's faction. Mind you, it was Oko Jumbo that instituted the matter at the SHC. Moving on, Amaewhule approached the COA and it quashed the order of the SHC for want of jurisdiction stating that status quo ante helium (The state of affairs before the conflict) should be maintained. What then was the state if affairs before the conflict? In answering the above, I will refer you to the cases before the FHC handled by me Lord Justice J.K Omotosho and by me Lord Justice Okorowo. While Justice Okorowo made an order barring INEC and PDP from taking actions against Martin Amaewhule and the other assembly members, Justice J.K Omotosho recognised Amaewhule as the Speaker of the Assembly and ordered that the governor must among other things desist from interfering with their activities. He further stated that all the actions carried out by Amaewhule were valid, including the suspension of Edison Ehie, Oko Jumbo, and 2 others. The above orders were not vacated by a higher court. These orders were pending before Oko Jumbo ran to the SHC that lacks jurisdiction to ask that their seats be declared vacant. This contravened the now notorious Section 272(3) CFRN 1999 as amended. In law, you cannot put something on nothing and expect it to stand. So tell me, what law or court order is giving legal breath and validity to Oko Jumbo's speakership among the two other lawmakers who were suspended? Law is not swayed by emotions too. In as much as there is no order of court from the FHC declaring their seats vacant, coupled with the recent COA decision that status quo ante bellum be followed, Hon. Martin's Chike Amaewhule is still the speaker of the RSHA. You are free to give me your dissenting view. With facts of course! |
