These are Biafrans, they massacred them and tagged them criminals.
We call on Biafrans in Lagos to mind their movement. The Nigeria establishment is out to destroy us, you must not give yourself so cheap to be used for propaganda against Biafra and ndigbo.
Have you ever seen Yoruba criminals or Fulani criminals and terrorists killed like this in Yoruba land?
Whatever happens, we call on Biafrans in Lagos to stay strong, we are almost at the end of the tunnel. Those of their terrorists in Biafraland will continue to collect Wotowoto

Thank you Mazi Ekpa. I think you should warn IPOB to keep their madness to the Igboland alone... No one cares whatever you turned your region into..

These men are criminals. They would've long been gone in Aba or Onitsha.

Kudos to the Nigerian Police.

What's the meaning of this.

What has Nigeria turned to?

This is absolutely insane.

Two things about this case are baffling

Nobody knows who these men are, their names or where they are from

Secondly, all 9 men have burn marks on them, as if they were first tortured with a hot metal such as iron, before being executed

We (Igbos) are all IPOB including all APC stalwarts from the Southeast. You can say whatever you like Igbos don't care about your political numbness.

The truth it is easy for a naive person to jump and say they were criminals. There is no proof to prove any wrong.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the picture is that these people may have been selected and killed.

The way the guns were placed on their chests for the photo Op is to convince peoples minds to accept anything thrown about them concerning the situation.

All forms of extrajudicial killings without trial is also murder. I am not igbo and have never stepped on igbo soil but I am not falling for the report I read online.

This is Nigeria. People can be racially discriminated because of their origins, selected and killed in other to pursue a vain narrative.

.I have been repeating it for years, the yorubas are the ones igniting an inexistent tribal war with the igbos. The same way they have done in the past three to five elections, the yorubas are on a course that promotoes intense hatred for the igbos. When this thing will explode all of you will eat the fruit of the seed you planted

That is just truth.

I don't know if they are criminals or not. These are human beings, the cause of their death should be invesgated to ascertain whether they are criminals or not. Ohaneze and other Igbo elites should conduct their own investigation. If they are criminals good for them but if they are not, it shows that this last election is turning to something else.

My lady open your eyes. I am not Igbo nor have any Igbo relatives. But I will never believe the narrative posted by the police. If truly these men engaged them in a shootout. They should show us images of the scenes. At least bullets would do great damage to the community they engaged in the gun battle

Yorubas are pushing for an ethnic war with the anti-igno narrative they keep pursuing and as we have been shouting in the SS, we will not sit back while the Yorubas try to ignite the entire country. Every election Yorubas won't let us have peace pursuing a narrative that doesn't exist to constitute tribal dominance

I didn't quote you. The comment wasn't meant for you.

The use of IPOB to demonize the Igbos is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in Nigeria that's why it did not take Malami 24 hours to proscribe IPOB as a terrorist organization after the Southeast Governors communique.

Are you sure you're not part of the team? Why not go to the Police headquarter in Ikeja and submit yourself as a gentle man.

I hate to say this but igbo men are known for criminality world wide and they account for 95 percent of Nigerians in incarceration worldwide. But we'll haven said that I still insist that this pictures is not proof enough to determine that this guys are igbo men until its proven beyond any reasonable doubt. This dead bodies could be from Benin or the Niger Delta. Or any part of Nigeria and west Africa as a whole. And they also look like Cameroonians.
And more so do you suggest that our security personnel should not engage criminals because u think they are igbos.
Overall I don't support extra judicial killings in anyway and I never will.
But when a group of daredevil criminals decides to engage state security personnels in a gun battle the end result is never good either way.
What a country we live in.

I think you should take your petition to the Lagos police command for proper investigation.

We want a society of Justice and equity. Nigerians we're living together in harmony until Tinubu sold the citizens they were different in outstung GEJ. That seed of hate is what is still being employed today in enflaning tensions. If we do not speak these things would accumulate and lead to full scale war

Ibos were saying hateful things about northerners and Yoruba even here on nairaland long before Jonathan became president.
This particular case is not about politics or Tinubu, it is purely a case of crime and prevention.

So because they were killed in Lagos for their criminal activities, so you are implying that the Yorubas police or people were responsible for their death. Please you are the one fanning tribal war between Yoruba and Igbo. So when you don't have reasonable things to say, you lock your mouth.
