Some groups in Nigeria survived the civil war when food blockade was used as instrument of war against Biafra.
Those Nigerian groups today must have developed thick skin against hunger.

Believe me, the situation was not like this during the civil war in the East. You know that God has a way of providing for his people. There were abundant supply of bush meats and vegetables. The land was also over fertile that crops multiple and mature in one month.

The day you hear of a protest in Lagos or Abuja or Porthacourt just know it's just child's play.

But anyday you hear of an organised protest on the north that the emirs and sultan can't calm or are in support then know ITS OVER.

Re: Food Scarcity, Hunger: Nigerians Losing Patience, Senate Tells Tinubu by Cmeo(m): 6:55am On Jul 10
It is highly sympathetic that the kettle is calling pot black. The root causes of hunger are the National Assembly members and our governors, but they are pointing figures to others.

National Assembly members insert trillions of Naira empowerment projects into the budget but how many people do they truly empower??

The governor's can ensure food security in their various states by embarking on massive farming projects

Agreed ! BUT Businesses function best when the people who know how to run them are left alone and government stays out of it.
A classic example is the Ukraine in 1932. Look it up, it’s called Holodomor. Ukrainian farmers had mastered their craft and were among the most productive food producers in the world. But because government was moving toward collective ownership, and of course government knows how to run farms, better than private citizens, the farms were taken over and the owners, who were the experts, were removed. Unfortunately government didn’t know the first thing about farming and 6 million people were killed and as many as 10 million more starved to death from the resulting famine.

What serious government do is provide an enabling environment and good security ... thats enough

This is nothing but a pure truth but my idea was that

1) the governors we have should be held responsible
2) what are they doing with the federal allocation
3) all states have their bushes and reserve or let me say remote area which are government reserved.. Abi

Now can't they use those lands for farming ?

Why is d land wasting for nothing sake Tinubu can't see a from Abuja that's why he needs a helping handsike governors 🤔

So lastly do u mean Nigerians of snot 300mlion plus population so it's only farming or food Insecurity problem we couldn't solve and yet we want to be like america

The last verse of our national anthem said

(Nigeria MAY be blessed)

Na wá the MAY is an unmeasurable verb 😂😆
