That works for admission into Columbia Business School, not NIW application.

Sure, she has done well for herself. Tensa20 really admires her as she was/is smart enough to stabilise her residency status even before graduation. Rather than hustle H1B, she is now on the way to Green Card status. I admire her for acing the GMAT notwithstanding her law background.

Maybe she went the marriage route for her papers na lipsrsealed

Just looked at her profile. Nothing spectacular. Columbia is good but not in the league of Harvard, Stanford, Wharton.

Also, Goldman pass Goldman o. If you are not in Goldman Sachs Investment Banking, you are not elite. She is in GS Asset Management which isn’t exactly top tier…

You're the funny one rather.

I do know the full meaning of LLB. But there is NOTHING like Bsc in Law.

Or maybe you don't know that Bsc means Bachelor of Sciences.
You would have corrected it explicitly. The initial argument in that thread was that there's nothing like "Bachelors of Law", whereby that's the full meaning of LLB. You're the person that wrote Bsc in Law....lol. always follow the initials of an argument before jumping in

It is even better off when a person you helped post such a message not you that helped, because Holy books made us to understand that the writer had already taken his glory by doing what he just did.

And This is what Tensa said
This is just one example. Bsc in law and was doing an MBA from Colombia but got her green card months before graduation.

Dangote and many other elites have dual citizenship with Carribbean countries.

The reason for someone wanting a US green card or passport is to cut off the hassle of applying for visas and being denied .

Didn’t Dangote say he only has the Nigerian passport? 🤔

Please don’t get my point wrong o. She has definitely done well but what she has done is not exceptional or out of this world.

One thing people should understand, as a black woman (better if African), you can get into any top business school with decent GMAT scores and semi-decent work experience. Same applies for jobs in yankee.

Business schools are trying to diversify their student profiles and it translates to opportunities for our women. That’s why I always tell my Nigerian women to work hard to grab these opportunities…

Using your metrics, how would you describe an exceptional black African woman in the context of B-school?

I get the remainder of your comment. Any above-average black African woman has so much opportunities to excel. Even for we black African men, but more so for our women.

From the revelations here, it seems the so-called professor really hates Igbos, worked for the present administration YET wants to japa. This is the cruelty I write every day about Nigeria's elite class: unintelligent, wicked, cruel, demonic and barbaric. He wants to japa after promoting ethnic hatred and corrupting election results. You can imagine! It is the reason I don't rate Nigeria's elite class, private or public. They have no conscience or dignity. Useless people!

Sha, na una dey entertain such requests.

As I have repeatedly stated on Nairaland, ALL Nigerian elites have a second passport. Those who don't have it are in the process. Don't allow any of them to deceive you with faux patriotism. A patriotic Nigerian is an oxymoron. Do as they do, not as they say.

2) This will serve as a reminder, that the foolishness of awalokans will never be forgotten by well-meaning Nigerians.

3)This will make reasonable people that are outside Nigeria to know that obidients are actually a good people that really want Nigeria to progress.

4) This is to tell you and your fellow bateria that your actions before and during the election are still fresh in the minds of reasonable Nigerians.

As per the second paragraph, of course it used to be easier for black men (especially Africans) but what you will notice is that these spots have become very competitive due to the advancement in technology. As the internet became available to all, Africans woke up and started applying for these limited spots. These days, you have to be exceptional as a black man to get the spots available to blacks.

However, black women are still underrepresented in the top business schools, Wall Street and other top global firms. As a black woman, you only have to be semi decent to grab these spots…

On paragraph one, an exceptional black woman in the context of B School is one that can score at least a 750 in the GMAT, graduated with a first class if from Naija (or Summa Cum Laude if from Yankee school), worked in Goldman Sachs IBD or McKinsey/Bain/BCG/Google/Apple etc. out of university and maybe played sports or started a business in college (bonus points).

I mean this is what it takes to be an exceptional candidate (male of female) for HBS, Stanford and probably Wharton for Finance oriented candidates.

However, for black women you don’t necessarily have to be this exceptional, especially coming from Africa. As I mentioned before, just be decent and you have a good shot at it…with scholarship sef.

The number of igbos working in sw civil service runs into tens of thousands but I'm yet to see a yorubaman brag about "how yorubas help igbos".

Now, the 2023 election and how it played out with respect to crude tribalism and sectional hatred for other Nigerians (in this case towards Igbos) by Tinubu supporters from Yorubaland (aka Awalokans) is no longer breaking news.

Especially as the igbos were showing love to other people during that election, right? You guys are so dense it's making you lack a sense of self awareness. You voted 90% plus for your agulu fraud in all your states, but it's another tribe that their own didn't even win all their states that are bigots. Igbos. Smh.

You must be deluded. No person voted for Obi based on his tribe. He is by far the best candidate in that election. Tinubu was a certificate forger, a drug trafficker, a sickly old man and an incompetent MOFO. Only jaundiced awalokan tribalists and religious zealots voted for him. You certainly fit those descriptions.

She was one of the first Nigerian schooled employees at McKinsey Nigeria.

Of late, Oxford Said School of Business has admitted a lot of African women. Expectedly, Nigerian women dominate the list. But I must that Said is ranked lower than London Business School and INSEAD (plenty of African women have attended this school). I recall Kemi Onabanjo of McKinsey was pained that she got denied Singapore visa to study at the campus there even with full funding and a job offer in Lagos.
