gidgiddy: You are the one who pried under the rock and now that we are pointing you to the snakes underneath it , you are crying that we exposed you to it. Are you not the fool who keeps bombarding us with Onistha revisionist history of Nigeria and posting topics on "muh Biafra genocide"? You are the one who keeps bringing your warped and false understanding of the past into the fore and when we rightly point you out on your blatant lies , you will begin your lame excuses and start saying crap about "all that is in the past" while you keep living in same past. Even your Biafra agitation here isn't complete without you dabbing into same past tainted with lies and blatant falsehood. You either eat the hot breakfast they are serving you here or GTFO . 10 Likes 1 Share |

Ttipsy:No. He was a big tribalist. He was the one that made a speech about how God destined Igbo to liberate Africa or some Bullshit. It would appear that the God of Africa has specially created the Ibo nation to lead the children of Africa from the bondage of the ages - Azikiwe, 1949. 7 Likes 1 Share |

flokii: Many of their offspring have been misled and lied to for decades. These lies are part of the Ibo supremacist agenda which was the shelter to which they retreated after the civil war ended in 1970. This agenda was a grand Ibo plan to twist and revise history and blame everyone but themselves for their mistakes. This agenda was well pushed to blame leading lights and intellectuals from other tribes while also playing the victims. We must always research and post speeches like this one by Azikiwe pre independence so that their lies and falsehood do not become the truth on social media. 9 Likes 1 Share |

opamoses1: Very correct. Just be on your guard when you hear them preach universal equality and unity amongst tribes. Have you wondered why Yoruba nationalism and SS geopolitical and cultural unity is always ridiculed by them ? They want you to strip yourself of your own cultural identity because that to them is the greatest weapon standing against their ambitions. The Jews are anti nationalists because they see nationalism as an impediment to their universal Judiac Communist Order. Liberalism maintains that cultural, historical and racial pride must be destroyed so as to ensure the people buy into their revolutionary ideals. This is why the Obidient Marxists are always attacking the history and cultures of others because such pride in identifying as an Effik, Itsekiri , Yoruba , Ijaw, Bini with a rich history and culture will not allow the same people to be dominated by a lesser people. This is why they are attacking any southern peoples culture and history . 5 Likes 1 Share |

confusedlady:I blame Gowon's post war policy (No Victor, no vanquished) which saw to a ban on those in the know in Gowon's war cabinet not being allowed to narrate their own perspective of what led to the war and what they saw and witnessed during the war. This has led to an anamalous situation where the vanquished came to dictate the post war narrative and continuing from where the Biafra propagandists stopped. There has been no war in history which after it was decided that was not dominated by the victor apart from the Nigerian civil war. This has led to the vanquished dominating the narrative without being checked. What Gowon should have done was to ensure a Truth and Reconciliation committee to be held so that those who really faced the brunt of the war , the minorities trapped in Biafra and later annexed in the Midwest, get to tell how harrowing their experiences were under biafran tyranny. I have posted several excerpts here from minority peoples perspective written about their harrowing experiences during the war which were commited by biafran soldiers and Ibo civilians alike and in all those threads, the Ibo posters swarm it and begin to insult the authors and myself claiming it is Nigerian propaganda against the Ibos. They have come to believe the lie that they were innocent without a single blemish so much so that they dismiss every recollection by minority peoples as ours lies. But there is also a sociopathic tendencies amongst them as they don't have any single empathy for the minority people neither can they see the foolishness of the bloody coup or the slow and silent genocide they committed on hapless Minorities trapped in their Biafra . When presented with facts and irrefutable evidence on the atrocities their so-called liberation army did to those they claim to liberate from Hausa Fulani grip , they wave it aside like a fly . You can even see that the same tropes Ojukwu and his band of nitwits in Enugu used in justifying invading both the Midwest and western Region is still ongoing with their Fulani boggey man and Islamisation false narrative. The only good solace I have regarding them is that they are stupid and can be countered. But my greatest fear remains that one can never predict the next level of stupidity they will undertake . 5 Likes 1 Share |

kettykin: You are not facing the fact that pre-independence, the Ibo,led by Nnamdi Azikiwe felt they were in pole position to emerge as the leaders of Nigeria politically and militarily and as such were opposed to referendum and secession. Post independence when they failed to gain political power, they now turned to their military wing and organised an Ibo coup in January 1966 to kill all the political and military leaders of other tribes, this brought General Ironsi to power and he abrogated regionalism through decree 34. When the North organised a revenge coup in July 1966 and Gowon held the power, the Ibo now divided the country and created Biafra and appropriated all the oil wells in the minority areas. 9 Likes 1 Share |

confusedlady:This is the 5th time I would make u feel like u are just talking from an ignorant perspective. No doubt igbos opposed secession in 1953, the reason igbos started demanding for secession was after a purely leadership affairs spilled into the streets and easterners started getting massacred enmass without stop. Our people were being killed and the Gowon government wasn’t doing anything about it, I remember when a burial happened in the mid west, northern soldiers attended the burial drove down to a prison and killed the igbo soldiers and civilians in it. David ejoor petitioned Gowon against it and nothing was done. We were being killed and nothing was being done, so were u expecting us to wait out our deaths? Ojukwu tried to resolve the conflict with Gowon and they agreed on aburi accord, same Gowon refused to honour it. I ask you confusedlady? If it had been the west that it’s people were being killed and nothing was been done about it, government wasn’t helping, international community wasn’t helping, they tried to resolve the matter with the FG yet nothing. I ask you, what would you or your region have done? If declaring Biafra at a time when we were on the brink of being wiped out with nothing being done was wrong, I put it to you and I ask you, tell us what option we have? If you can’t give a reasonable response tells that you are your likes are just talking without anything to offer or out of sentiments? If the counter coup had happened and ended in government houses and barracks, ALL OF US READING this this know, nobody would have pushed for secession. You can’t push a dog to the wall and expect not to bite. I ask you confuseslady again, tell us the options u think we should have taken while our people were being massacred in Nigeria and nothing was been done. 1 Like 1 Share |

Gerhards:Igbos wanted Niger delta oil, oil was first discovered in the eastern region, before independence. If we were after oil, we could have pushed for secession with the bigotry Ahmadu bello kept spilling against us as excuse, we didn’t. Eastern region by 1966 was far richer than other regions as a result of the oil money flowing, aguiyi ironsi could have used the opportunity to say let’s get our own country and take this oil, we didn’t. But our people were being massacred in Nigeria with the government doing nothing about it, despite everything we did to appease the situation. We got tired and said since u don’t want us again we are leaving. All of a sudden some knuckleheads that didn’t do anything to stop the killing of our people say we say we don’t want again cause of oil. Can u see the level of sentiments, bias, ignorance and foolishness combined. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Coldie: @Bolded, You have started your revision of history again. Northerners killed Ibos and Ibos equally killed Hausa/Fulani living in the East. In fact Ibos appropriated Ibo houses after killing the owners in the East. Bear in mind some of these Hausa/Fulani had been living in the East since the 1800's and spoke Ibo language better than their mother tongue. I hope the video below will jog your memory.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHdU7WWFNT0?si=UCEcy6oBTRanOKUX 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Coldie: Foolishness is when you ommit the fact that the SS people in the then eastern region had already began a process to leave the eastern region with their oil in tow. Enugu decided to stage a coup to prevent this from happening and that's why they targeted all the regional leaders that had given their blessing to support the carving out of COR region from the Eastern region. The timing of the coup betrays the ambitions of the Jan 15 coupists because it was carried out just in time to prevent the federal House from reconvening after a long Christmas break. The first item on the docket before Parliament was the motion to grant a plebescite for the minority peoples of the old eastern region to have their own region. The proposed region was were all the oil wealth was located. So the greed of having SS oil is what led to your grandfather's foolishness. Even Baron Rothschild sent one of his henchmen in late 1965 to negotiate on how to carry out the coup . One of the notorious London crime bosses (Kray Twins) visited Enugu at this time. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Ibo people are the greatest problems in this country.....and either you like it or not .....seccession will still happen....let all tribe live on its own resources 4 Likes |
