It's so embarrassing to see you write what you did, I've taken a screenshot and sent to our group, let everyone laugh at you.
We all use to think you guys were all that and respected you but it's a pity.

I have nothing to prove to you all, after all isn't it same you guys in UK that told us that we were wasting our time applying to band 6 roles. Same you guys told us to reject the interview invites, same you guys said we should refuse the offers. I don't know what's wrong with you all knowing that 1 way doesn't enter market. Where your knowledge ends is where another one starts. I have my offer, cos and visa and not only me, a host of others.

The fact that you have limited yourself doesn't mean others should.

They're all haters, I'm not so dumb to know about what you've stated. This is my 14th year on nairaland.com soao I know what these dumbskulls are capable of.
I stated a case and they decided to take the most irrelevant part and amplify it. It's hatred, jealousy, bad belle and pull him down syndrome.

The driving part was asked after they've given me offer and wasn't part of applications or interview. I drive normally but just not confident hence my question but these witches that are never happy with other people's success, whose lives are in shambles decided to attack.
One dog was even asking his father to snap offer letter. How dull can people be?

Full driving lessons is part of the offer but I just wanted to know some things hence my questions.
I won't cower, I will continuously post here, who wants to get heart attack should get it.
I wish I could show you all my various dozens previous accounts over my 14 years on this site and you would all know you are wasting your time getting jealous or angry over my wins.

Someone was saying I ask inane questions. I'm proud to say asking those seemingly stupid questions got me this far. Alot of people had their IELTS and CBT before me but haven't smelt 1 interview whereas, I reject interviews and offers at will. It's asking questions, being daring and bold in the face of uncertainty. Beyond the beef, anger , hatred, envy and whatnot, please pick this point of being bold and daring, asking those stupid questions. It would get you far.

In the interim 2 months yes and then it goes back up again. Over all no. Babajeje close the credit line unless you have a very strong will and discipline to not use them again.
It is very easy to get into debt if you have access to lots of open credit lines.

The only thing that will convince me you're not a bot or a troll is that you're an older person that don't use the internet to do stuff for yourself. You were asking about what flight to book. But at the same time, you don't know TLS contact, the agency that collects passports for visa application.

You can start using LinkedIn and set parameters on the roles you wanted ,the country, sponsorship et al. I always advice applying directly to the company . A lot of people have testified using indeed, you may try that. Also, you may Check Amazon e.g AWS sites, Google, Facebook, tik tok for software developer roles. If you want big 4, check website directly too. Many times you will get a lot of rejection but don't panic, just ensure you are consistent md submitting at least 5 applications in a day. I tell you, one will work and you will get fully paid sponsorship job from Nigeria that will take care of your flight and even accommodation for some period .

For nursing, we are required to register with a body amd write a qualifying exams, is it same for yours? If so, which body and what exams is required. I will be glad to get clarification

Get away from my view, but purge yourself from the trauma you suffer from that makes others success gets on your nerves.

Another thing that help me in life is being happy for others, and wishing them well. Showing others opportunities and referring them to it. Try it maybe, just maybe things will start taking shape in your life too.

They're so bold to discredit things. I felt so embarrassed reading that from her. Where is it written that you must start on band 5?

If I had years of experience and maybe masters, I would even apply for band 7 even.

You need to see how my employers are so pleased with the little experience I have it's a big deal to them but these ones have carried the Nigerian mentality of spending decades before you can aspire to be big.

Someone even told me that whoever interviewed and gave me the band 6 is drunk because band 6 isn't meant for starters. This lady is a band 7 psych nurse herself o but so myopic.

Until we decide to be open minded and explore possibilities, we won't grow.

Stop projecting. Before, you guys said general nursing band 6 straight from Nigeria is hard and Psychiatric nursing band 6 is ok, now it's the other way round. Nothing is impossible for a mind who is ready. Even If you were a professor before coming, you would be trained and go through preceptorship. Any diligent and smart person should cope afterwards.
Whats the big deal they do?? Do you know the training and experience some of us went through in Nigeria? I think those of you saying this studied abroad so you're limited.
Nigerian curriculum and work environment will grill you that you will cope anywhere. Wish people well and take chill pill. Other people's downfall won't help you in any way

You were only talking based on your experience......I know quite a few people who got band 6 from Nigeria, some where placed on the highest rung of band 5 while some where placed at the lowest. Though they will be at band 4 till their pin is out.

And I have seen some who came in within 6months-1year got band 6....... nothing is actually impossible. Infact people have moved from band 5 to 7.

Band 5 to 7 is common. Band 6 after 6months is common so I don't understand their headache with 6 straight from Nigeria.
I can count more than 10 with cos/visa for band 6 right now all gotten within the last few weeks.
Even I would be placed on the highest scale of band 6 based on my experience (cv, how I performed in interview).

This isn't show off but encouraging others who might come across this. I hate misinformation with passion. We are talking about people's future here. Many people would have been in the UK by now if they knew they could apply to band 6 but their IELTS, CBT results are rotting away.

No NHS Trust will give sponsorship for you to come to the UK for band 6 without a pin. The only exception is if you sponsor yourself to the uk to write the osce and have the pin then you can start to apply for band 6 role and this is somehow hard because no UK experience as the Trust will ask for UK experience. I know its easy and fast to move from band 5 to band 6 when you have done DN training.

I didnt limit myself LOL, I'm only stating the facts.
