Most Local government chairmen no send any yeye infrastructure o; especially in this Lagos. They are only interested in collecting funds, buy house in Lekki and share whatever they generate at the council level amongst themselves.

The Supreme Court has, today, delivered judgement in the case brought to it against the 36 state Governors by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government.

1. The court held that it is illegal for Governors to dissolve democratically elected Local Governments.

2. It orders the Federal Government to henceforth withhold allocations to Local Governments governed by unelected officials appointed by the Governor.

3. The apex court barred the Federal Government from further paying LG allocations through the State Governments since the practice has been abused by Governors.

It's obvious it's been a while you have been to Abule Egba. Since Ambode did that overhead bridge, the place has changed.

There are so many things wrong with that traffic intersection. The light adjacent to the STOP light (the one that controls the entrance ramps) is improperly placed and can lead to serious accidents.

Imagine that adjacent light is showing GREEN and the STOP and main lights are showing RED, no be wahala be that? The idea behind traffic light and signs is to promote safety, this one promotes chaos.

.....we didn't fight for LG Autonomy to keep SIEC nonsense. NASS will do the needful soon bruh.

U hit the nail on the head.

Lagos state for example before this judgement the LGA's/LCDA's have been enjoying financial autonomy as Sanwoolu claimed, yet some of those LGA/LCDA chairman are still useless.

Most of them don't live anywhere close to their LGA's at all. Na Lekki most of them dey stay. Ordinary Trunk C road for them to maintain in their LGA they won't do it. They go to their LGA's few times in a month. Maybe if they stay among their people they will have no choice but to work small

In the urban areas, most people are doing fairly well focusing on their daily hustle.

In my LG, youths have chased an elected LG Chairman away from the council before. Where I from, we no dey take eye see nonsense.
