Na lie! It will turn out yet another impoverished state like that many other states in the SE today. These politicians trying to get you all to support their new state idea know this. A new state means yet more opportunity for them to mine your destinies and futures as they have done in other states, grease the palms of their many friends and rule over the lives of the poor people who are reduced to slave status after that. Look at what happened to Imo State since Abia was created from it. The two can barely stand up on their own. The same happened with Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi... all that carving out of new states has left each with barely enough to accomplish much at the state and local levels. It has opened the floodgates to the criminals to feast on the little that comes into each state instead.
