Even if a person has cottonwool as brain they should understand that Article 2.5 of Samoa Agreement which requires parties to promote "gender perspective" and ensure "gender equality" unmistakably implies lgbt rights. When these people mention gender only a capital mumu will claim they aren't referring to lgbt. EU deliberately avoided defining "gender" in the document so as to allow them to adopt a definition outside the Agreement. See how the federal government, Nigerian Bar Association, etc have fallen for their antics! Nigerian law doesn't recognise lgbt rights, but EU wants to circumvent the law through this Agreement by dangling $150 million before tinubu's people. For those mischievously saying Samoa Agreement is subject to ratification of the National Assembly before it becomes binding, well, EU has dribbled them again by clever choice of words so that it takes effect upon signing. Me, I don talk my own, but una mumu don do sha! 2 Likes |

Since after election, Peter Obidence supporters find it difficult to live without manipulation and different lies, no problem ,they should continue but they're already loosing values and to think of it who's going to trust them anymore, with all these it shows if country were to be ruled by them ,there would never be any truth in the country anymore . To play opposition require tactics but to win Incumbent party takes negotiations, as a born politician from her mama womb I know this game called politics. In short No Igbo man will ever become President until Dave Umahi turned one . Obi is not in the class at all |

helinues:it is confirmed that there was an LGBT clause that was later removed due to protest by members state. what difference does it make? it is obvious the information wasn't false. citizens reserves the right to know what their government is plugging them into. now we know the truth we can all move on from here no point witch hunting anyone for trying to expose what is needed to. helinues:https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/710035-fact-check-are-there-lgbt-clauses-in-samoa-agreement-nigeria-signed.html from every rumour there will sure be an iota of truth. Mccollins042:helinues, this says it all, the modern day definition of gender, remains an iota of truth. so long we aren't being hoodwinked into these whole stuff I don't have a problem, all I want is a better Nigeria and a better tomorrow for children and future generations. A MAN WAS ONCE HERE.

zkm3: You're trying to sound right but it's not working. Read the write up again, it was first raised by a lawyer, it didn't start with daily trust. First of they said human right, that differs across regions, in the EU, they recognize all sorts when it comes to gender, while here you are either male or female, what we are saying is that the human right interpretation should reflect regional authority and not those who drafted the document interpretation. And that's what federal government is asked to establish. Secondly in our context we don't fully understand the gay, lesbian and transgender thing, while they have expressions over there they don't here, we don't want to be discriminatory but we won't accept what we don't fully understand, because a man was not naturally designed to be pregnant and a woman isn't naturally design to impregnate. If we understand these things better maybe we can understand why it's allowed there, but until then let's stick to what works for us, because at the end of the day Nations will do what's in their best interest irrespective of regional interest. Lastly no senior ranking member of a business discloses personal lifestyle especially a CEO that's controversial. They do so at the expense of a business, that's not something people put on full display. 2 Likes |

Article 2.5 reads: “The Parties shall systematically promote a gender perspective and ensure that gender equality is mainstreamed across all policies.” Article 29.5 reads: “The Parties shall support universal access to sexual and reproductive health commodities and healthcare services, including for family planning, information and education, and the integration of reproductive health into national strategies and programmes.” “Gender equality” was a euphemism used by the EU to encompass sexual and LGBT rights and “reproductive health” was a euphemism for abortion and contraceptives, he said. “We are advocating that they put a definition clause so that we know what the terms are. Define gender, define gender equality, define sexual reproductive health,” Mr Ekwowusi said. BBC think we are still in colonial days. They should put a definition to the above clauses or shut the f up. Gender equality to the Europeans also means protecting gay rights which is unacceptable here. Tinubu is a Calamity, what will it take d dumbo to demand for clarifications on these controversial clauses 2 Likes 1 Share |

/ I don't even understand it. Find out where you are comfortable and migrate there. Islamic countries enforce alcohol prohibition and pork is Haram. Would it make sense to live in Qatar and insist on eating pork and drinking alcohol? A country's law is for adapt or move. So should be Nigerian laws. Don't displease 95% to please 0.01% and the 4.98% sitting on the fence. The majority have rights too that must be protected. / |

It did not stop China from developing but instead helped it. We have to use these loan/aid facilities to develop the country and recover out economy. https://www.mofa.go.jp/files/000557187.pdf

This $150b deal will be good only if it's free of any LGBTQ nonsense every people their own lands no one goes to EU and tell them what is right or wrong so they shouldn't come here and tell us what is what. And at the same time this to me is the last chance to give this government to utilize this loan to it's maximum benefit else they'll know real trouble when resistance will rise |
