It's all part of corruption in the deep state of the US. For example a US tomahawk cruise missile costs $2 million while the Russian equivalent the Kalibr Cruise missile costs $900k. Yet Russian made weapons have proven to be more effective than US ones in Ukraine.

So yes it's very true, but the USA arms and general manufacturing industry has nonetheless provided extraordinary material & technological advantage. Look up AIRCRAFT CARRIERS, the US has over a dozen, only one or two other countries have even one. Just the aircraft on a SINGLE USA carrier group is larger that the air forces of MOST other countries in the world.

What about SPACE enabled military targeting, communications, drones and so on. Overpriced but still superior to any other nation out there, though many are catching up.
