Owerri, Enugu and Calabar are the most decent cities in Nigeria in terms of greenery & livability of most areas. In other cities of Nigeria, what you have is less than 5% of the city being decent while the rest look like slums. Even Abuja and Lagos, it’s same thing! The percentage of people living in the slum parts are always greater than those living in fairly decent parts, unlike cities in the East.

Don’t mind him. I know how cities in other parts of Nigeria look like. They will have one or two major roads that look decent, but the moment you go beyond to the next street behind, you will be facing slums and dirty neighborhoods. Except it’s their GRA, show me cities like Ibadan, Akure, Oshogbo, Abeokuta, Kaduna, Kano etc that isn’t like that.

It’s only in SE and SS that you will see their cities looking decent beyond the major roads.

I have heard bout the world bank areas like Area A, N, M and site and service, Aladinma, wethdral & co but don't have any idea on securing an apartment for rent over there ... Do you guys have any suggestions please. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks

Owerri is the only city in Nigeria that has main roads, streets, and inner streets of same axis, clean and beautiful, with a large coverage.

Sometimes I laugh when people say their city is green.
There's no city in Nigeria that beats Owerri in greenery and landscaping over a large area
