I pray it's fully utilized to the masses not our selfish, self centered attitude

The person or people at the helm are greedocrats not democrats

The current system of government is greedocracy

Hence It is nothing but for selfish, self centered attitude of leaders.

I have always wanted to convert to CNG, but the cost is high. The government's initiative is commendable. This should have been introduced much earlier, before the removal of subsidies. They could have raised awareness through various channels to inform us about the benefits of switching. It doesn't require a degree to know that the transportation is a major factor in detemining cost of things.

If the target is 300000 vehicles per year, and we have 36 states, how will the impact be felt? Will there be a different rate for CNG-powered vehicles?

Duties should not be paid on CNG conversion kits. If part of what the government claimed they saved on subsidy is invested into making it more accessible to most people, the impact will be significant.

Individuals can be assessed through their banks. Some may be able to pay 30% upfront while the rest is paid over several months.

The government can partner with companies that produce CNG conversation kits directly or indirectly.

How many Nigerians can afford N1M to convert to cng?

This then even alters the value of the car...have they tested this tech properly before rolling it out abi it's business as usual?

Nigerians have parked thier cars because they can't even eat you're talking about cng.

I heard yesterday that UCH is filled up to the extent that they're referring patients to smaller hospitals.

Priorities.

Oooh! Mr. Brainer. You get sense gan oooo. I don’t just understand your cognitive capability. 20,000 units out of the 300,000 targets; that is about 6.67% of the set target, with about 5months to the end of the year. How visible and realistic is the target? and you think that is not a miracle? Abi your issue is because I mentioned Jesus?

A large percentage of cost of transport being so high is because of your stalwart MC Oluomo and his copies all over the country.

Carefully read this meme I will upload with this post. No depth in African leadership; small minds everywhere

That is how a lot has been saying " scam " and reality pass them .

Curious345:
Scam.

It costs around ₦1,000,000 to convert a 4 plug sallon car to CNG.
It was ₦350,000 around this time last year .

So do the maths ..

At least I know over 800 people who are eager to convert . But the cost has blocked them

For my constructive criticism, it looks like a partial scam, it's like adding another subsidy in one of the oil products. The LNG vehicle use gas from the petroleum sector which is already having problem in Nigeria, it'll cost the BAT APC FG billions to subsidized LNG vehicle. Electric car should have been better
