SadiqBabaSani: The OP is a bitter man and can't perceived that Dictators don't die alone! All Dictators will first like to have legitimacy before their true colours and those khaki boys will soon become the Billionaires of their State and time will tell, just like Putin. While French affairs in those Countries was a National Disaster- for how could you be Printing Money directly from France to your Colony or even the Cars Plate Numbers. But overall its a Message that Russian is worse and is ready to Colonise these African Countries again- just to have a taste,as a Colonial Master ,in 21st Century. May be they would soon start with their Language. Time Will Tell! 1 Like |

SadiqBabaSani:Leaving ecowas alone is huge progress. Dont just comment, take a seat and watch these countries progress in no time. I remember when people were saying who would go and spend vacation in a desert town of dubai. Their leaders never relented on their efforts on developing cos they had a vision. Today, if you've not visited dubai as a successful man, you're not anywhere. Once you visit once, you must come back again. Mention one leader in Nigeria who doesn't have a property there today, incl via proxies. Guess what, it now rains in dubai. I witnessed the first rain in 2015 during my visit. Geographically, the seemingly impossible became possible Any wise Nigerian business man should be thinking of how to explore opportunities in these african countries now, instead of hauling insults at them. I'm doing that already in Niger. 3 Likes |

Racoon: Stop supporting nonsense. All those u mentioned above what was their economic impact on the country they govern. Poverty was at the highest level in Burkina Faso when Sankara was millitary head of state. He would not have been overthrown and killed if he was performing wonders. 1 Like |

JASONjnr:The west is the least of your problems. The last minister of power has a case with EFCC regarding how he diverted about 22 billion naira meant for your Electricity to buy properties in Dubai…lol. This is just one minister. A governor in a poor state transferred 720k dollars just to pay children school fees…lol that is just one governor….smh yet every day you guys come online to talk about the west. 3 Likes |

Yet Burkina Faso may not experience meaningful development cos the issue is never with French presence but with the people they have come to meet who seems to be brainwashed and myopic in thinking that to experience genuine change there is need for individual change of mindset. This is the reality |

spiSeyi:That's not true. I'm now visiting Niger steadily but I won't tell you the details. There's inflation globally but Nigeria is hardest hit because of bad policies and leadership who are only interested in power and their pockets at the expense of the masses. Visit those countries and see realities, don't dwell on media propaganda. |

Hecrax: And to think that this was a record already broken by former governor Yahaya Bello, who ironically, is top on the EFCC's wanted list for corruption, baffles my expectation of you guys reasoning capabilities. https://www.nairaland.com/6189140/photos-gov-yahaya-bello-procures 1 Like |

Paraman: My point exactly is this: The west creates unrest in your country once u dont align with them except u are very strong and have strong allies. This is a known fact. They will create unrest by creating groups against ur govt. I never said they created IPOB. But know that no unrest is without a strong backing by govt or non state actors. |

OBIDIENTNAIJA:what did the previous ones achieved? Was there a time any military leader managed our resources properly? The dollar crisis you are experiencing today did you think it started today? Have you asked yourself how black market started? Go back and check the history of who created the black market and how it has benefited a certain region…. |

Your statement just jolt me back to reality. Come to think of it. Nigeria is not making any progress at all in most social responsibilities of the government. We could say that it's easier now to obtain your international passport than before. That's the only thing I feel is working now. Emco1: |
