If you have this in Nigeria, the police will use it to stael, oppress and harrass car owners, they wont wait for you to commit an offense. You can even be in the car and they will tow you. But, wait, how will i know my car was towed and not stolen?

As a matter of fact, for us to not find any technology intriguing, it should either be something we can invent ourselves or something we have been using for so long that it no longer seems special. Otherwise, downplaying such an invention indicates arrogance and a lack of acknowledgment of a helpful innovation.

The problem with us in Nigeria is not that we lack knowledge. It's rather that we lack CONSCIENCE!
Give a Nigerian any little knowledge and watch him abuse, or use it to intimidate others.
Prepaid metering that work seamessly in other clime, it reach Nigeria Nepa abuse it; Customers bypass it.
Introduce E-voting to our electoral system today, if politicians don't buy-out the machine, Inec officials will devise means to beat the hardwares to accept multiple/underage voting, or network center will frustrate/hack the system!

I haven't been to Nigeria in over 8 years. However, I have noticed that Nigerians love asking these questions of "When is this coming to Nigeria". Its good to desire latest technologies, but most of these technologies are not even widely used in the west. Most of these technologies are not common in the U.S.

Also, if these technologies are made available in Nigeria, can Nigerians really afford the services?

Of a businessman decide to bring these innovations to Nigeria and charges the proportionate fee for the service, a lot of Nigerians will either complain or not use the service.

I believe when the time is right, it will certainly be available.
