Please @hannania I need your guidance, can you send me a mail
faluyi.e.t@gmail.com

I’ve paid semester dues to accept the course and sent my documentation’s for enrollment, I didn’t know visa application takes this long until I got to see this thread, so I mailed my supervisor and he said the admission cannot be deferred that if I can’t come latest October 7 I will not be able to join the masters programme. And sent a mail to beg if I can start online classes.
And the deutchland scholarship in the sch would be open august 1st, planned to apply to that and then move to category A, after securing it
I’m tired and don’t know what to do

Not true. I applied in Dec 2022. They may be sending AD without the people in this forum knowing

Maybe we don’t have people who applied from Sept 2022 - Dec 2022, cause no more update on AD again🤦🏽‍♂️

Abeg guys. I submitted two passports my old and new one and the consular officer gave me back the old one and took the new one. What does it mean?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by nellystrong7(m): 12:17pm On Jul 12
It is a normal routine to return old passport since it has expired. Your visum can't be fixed on an expired passport. Secondly, when an approval is given concerning your visa application, they won't ask you to send your passport in order to stick the visa on it since they are still in possession of your passport booklet. I wish the best as you wait for Approval Mail.

Nigerians can waste their time applying to biggest country. When you can easily get a student visa to one of the smallest country in Europe even without paying tuition fee. Germany no get conscience oo. Just pray to be lucky. Before I cross into this Europe all this countries show me shege. Until when my eyes open. I see say those country in Europe some of them don’t receive more tourist so they accept any application that is legit and complete documentation. They hardly get refusal. Almost everyone who applied. Gets their visa. Both tourist and student visa. Since then when I came into Europe. I can’t let my family members waste their money again on big countries like Germany. Anyway good luck to those who have gotten appointments

There's no letter , even from your university's vice chancellor that will make them consider you if you don't fall under Category A. When the waiting time was less than a year around 2021, people did send such emails and it worked. Right now, they won't even reply to your email. I'll advise you source for Benin republic Residence permit and continue your enrolment, after 4 months, you can apply for visa. Before your visa is due, it will be 6 months.

Option two is to finish enrolment then apply for the Deutschlandstipendum. Unfortunately, you won't have a transcript

Well, it's possible people are getting AD but won't tell anyone here.

Especially if they don't need help from here.

I think the best thing you can do for yourself is to let things take their courses. Your own Will come when it's your time... Appointment date!

He can still apply. Almost all first year students won't have a transcript but they will ask you to submit your underg transcript aad other leadership proofs and achievement within the last two years.

Those not withstanding, still apply, there's nothing to lose.

Three things are involved!

1. Yours is a hardluck and it might still come (unusual).
2. You missed your appointment (be sure you didn't get mail in your spam folder)
3. You may not have reaffirmed your interest through the link of the universal email sent by the embassy in April, 2024.

Be sure that numbers 2 and 3 are not the case(s).

Shalom!

Guten tag! Wie geht's sie?

I've been following this thread since 2019/2020 when I was in Nigeria and first tried to apply for German study Visa. I received my AL on time but hit a snag at the Appointment Date stage.
Then Covid lockdown hit along with endsars and the whole process collapsed for me. January 2021, I decided to go to a different country (and I've been here for the past 3 years). I got a job, started saving towards my BA and other school related expenses.
I began the process of applying for admission again last year. However, because I stupidly used an IELTS result that was o er 2 years old, my application for admission was turned down. So, I wrote another IELTS in April. Got the required score and then reapplied for admission at the same school on the 1st of May. Around the same month, I booked a visa appointment date for 9th of July and began waiting for my Admission Letter.
3rd of June, the school offered me a conditional admission. I began preparations in earnest to secure a blocked account and everything.
Fast forward to last week Tuesday (9th), I went to the German Consulate with all my documents. The VO didn't ask much questions. They just requested for my documents, asked how long my program would be for. How I intended to finance myself one year after exhausting my BA. Then they asked me to scan my fingerprints and pay the Visa fee with the remark that my documents would be forwarded and I'd receive an email letting me know if my application was successful or not. They also told me they had reserved a space on the passport which is where the visa stamp would be placed in case my application was successful. That was it.
The whole process was stress free and seamless.
On Thursday (two days after the interview), I received an Approval Mail telling me to come deposit my passport along with Health insurance within 4 weeks for Visa Stamp.
I am absolutely flummoxed that the whole consulate process could be that fast. To receive an AM for a study visa in the same week as one's appointment is something I've never heard of.
Anyway, that's my story.
I wish everyone here who's pursuing their academic luck all the best. But if I can add a thought, I'd advise you to try and leave Nigeria. This was much easier for me because I wasn't in Nigeria.

This is the email they send on registration. This is what yoy must have received in August 2022, the time you said you booked your appointment. If you rather received the above email earlier this year, it means you rebooked your appointment because it's different from the email sent in April to everyone on queue. If you didn't open the one sent in April to confirm your interest, you're out of the queue already.
