On Builder/ engr/ artisan side it’s good to be good no matter condition we are ,we should always try to be honesty and try to keep to the promised bcs it’s not easy to get this money.

Literally means” you can’t certified the whole world.
Do your best and leave the rest.
The best prayer is to meet good client and good services providers ( professionals in build industry and artisans ).
Many things do happen in this industry …I have seen a lot which 20pages can’t contain if start with it here.

I remembered about 6years ago I did a job for someone and thank God I took all aspect of the job pics and video.
Bum after delivery the client called me that I didn’t installed wire and cable in an estate o.( I don’t know how they successfully thefts those items )
I called spyder and I narrated the story to him and we share advise/ideas about this and others construction issues
With advise from him and video/ pics plus confirmation from the site supervisor that he saw it with help of God I was saved.
Later the man called me for another big project BUT I decline straight

I remember some client from here
One gave me 1m plus after he sees that I have almost ran into debt without asking him.
Another one throughout his job when he visited Nigeria he will comes with clothes and some goody for me and some tools free oo

Honourable, look at the situation this way:

If the tradesperson contacted you that your materials have been stolen at his business premises, what would be your expectations?

My expectations would include the tradesperson replacing the stolen materials through their insurance or from their pocket. The insurance (security) of any business premises is the responsibility of the "registered" owner.

From your own account, you are the resident contractor at that site. You are responsible to provide insurance (security) for all goods stored overnight. Three cases of theft are alleged to have been reported to you. It is your responsibility to investigate the thefts and take appropriate actions which could include instructing that no tools should be stored overnight at site and further to advise all that any tools and materials stored overnight are at owners risk.

From your own account, you have failed to do the above. As the resident contractor, your insurance is liable for any theft at site for goods and materials stored overnight.

You should sit him down over a cold drink and arrive at a reasonable compensation for his missing tools.

I am sorry, but you have not managed your site to the standard expected from a multi million project.

Yes, see it like renovation, with the right tools( grinders, drills etc),the extent of damage won't be much. involve a qualified personnel so they don't go cutting rebars in concrete indiscriminately.
