How's vehicle inspection or licence a police affairs? Just because they're asked to investigate stolen vehicles, doesn't mean they should licence all vehicles and be asking for a renewal payment. But this will only give way for VIO or FRSC to jump into it and begin to extort money from Nigerians. One day, Nigerians will rise and claim back it's country from both the thieving politicians and the European colonizers! 80 Likes 5 Shares |

JASONjnr: They're ALL thieves, period. Check most Nigerian agencies, they already have the citizens data. Almost the same data collected by NIMC is collected by NCC, FRSC & NIS. If the NPF truly wanted a database, they'd import data from FRSC, nothing more than that. They are all just looking for ways to extort Nigerians and generate their own loot while conniving with tech companies. I remember the Army, Navy and Air force used to make money from job applicants every year before Buhari's tenure... useless criminals, selling scratch cards to people risking their lives to serve their nation. 87 Likes 10 Shares |

Anybody appointed by the evil party just want to go rogue the next day. Even the IGP still want to impose more levies on suffering Nigerians because he thinks he has the power to do so. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

It is an exercise that is needless. Car registration portals can easily provide all the data the police require. It is a repetitive exercise. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

BarrElChapo: Revenue that is meant for their pockets. The tech companies in charge of the data collection and management would give the IG his own cut... That's how they operate. Maybe IG would get N200 per application, multiplied by the number of Nigerians registering, he never buy mansion for Dubai? The military used that tactics for years under GEJ, siphoning money from job seekers, but immediately Buhari became president, it stopped. 12 Likes 1 Share |

If not madness, what is the business of police with revenue generating and even duplicating efforts at that? Instead of him to revive the forensics lab at Ikoyi, he's busy looking for money that is not looking for him. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Very good. Not only suspension but total cancellation. Every agency is trying to extort Nigerians. We have so many database in Nigeria NPF can import from. Immediately someone is given a job, these ICT guys will just rush to him and introduce extortion portal, from job application now to verify your driver's license. Chai 4 Likes 1 Share |

Cmeo: And that justifies their extortion? If it's data they want, let them do it for FREE! The Police has an ICT department funded by the government, they don't have to charge a dime from the citizens. 6 Likes 1 Share |
