The USA was once colonised by the British empire, but rose up to become more powerful than its colonial masters , China was under occupation by the imperial Japanese empire but rose up to become a major player in today's world

Firstly Jews are indigenous to that land.


Second Jews have always been in the land throughout history although at some point they became the minority because many of them migrated to Europe, other Middle Eastern countries and North Africa. Many of them then moved back to Israel when antisemitism in Europe was on the rise.


The Arabs ( noticed how I didn't call them Palestinians) did not accommodated the Jews. Jews were killed in Jerusalem and Hebron as early as the 1920s. Israel did not demand half of the land the UN partitioned the British mandate of Palestine into two a larger part for the Arabs and the other for the Jews. Dividing the land between original occupants and current occupants. ( the Jews are the only people in the world to recover lands they have previously lost and I know the reason why)


Everyone was Palestinian whether Arab or Jew or even Druze as long as you reside in the part of the Middle East formerly known as the land of Israel renamed Palestinia by the romans you're a Palestinian.
