Don’t Join Protest, Gov Uzodimma Urges South East Youths by thekokofacts: 12:07pm On Jul 15
Governor Hope Uzodunma of Imo state has urged youths of southeast to shun calls for protest against the government.

He alleged that proponents of such protests are enemies of the country who wanted to destabilise the national government.

The governor spoke in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi state during the grand finale of All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign for local government election.

According to him, the people of the region have no reason to protest against the government of the day, stressing that the federal government and President Bola Tinubu are working hard to bring lasting solution to the economic challenges the people are facing.

Uzodinma, who is the chairman of the Southeast Governors’ Forum, further appealed to the people to give the government more time to work and fix the challenges.

He said: “To the youths of southeast, because we are on the path of growth, our enemies are trying to disorganize national government.

They will come to you, they want you to protest, ask those who want you to protest where are their children. Why must you be the one to protest and to protest against what?

“This government is our government, the government of President Bola Tinubu is our government. So nobody from Southeast will protest. We are not aggrieved, we have hope

“Whatever they say, this government is barely one year in office. Yes we are aware of the hardship, we are aware things are hard, but I promise you that the presidenti is working so hard to release money to the people, to deliver infrastructure to the people and to release and increase food security to the people. Follow your leaders, work with your leaders.”

Also speaking, the APC national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, urged Nigerians to support the president in his bid to beter the living standards of the people.

“I call on every Nigerian to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice President Kashim Shettima and the Federal Government for their efforts, programmes and actions geared towards ensuring better standards of living for Nigerians.

“I believe and I am confident that very soon, Nigerians would have reasons to be smiling and acknowledging the prudence and effective results of their support for the APC”, Ganduje said.

I'm totally fine, as you can see decipher from my comments on competence and accountability. But the big question is, based on your comments, are you fine? Celebrating failure every single hour of every day, every week for more than 8 consecutive years. No be juju be that

How many mentions do you give me in a day?

Smart.

I suggest that the North and Southwest regions take the lead in organizing the protest.

The South-South and Southeast regions will provide moral support online.

May God be with you. 🙏

You see this their advertised Nonsense protest, please no single South East and South South person should join it.
You should not join a protest being organized by those who we warned that things will get bad like this and they refused to listen.
You should not get involved in a protest being funded from behind by those who kept quiet because Buhari a northerner was in power.
You should not join a protest that will end up using IGBOS as a settling score.
They burn Prophet Mohammed image in Sweden, they will descend on IGBOS in the north.
They riot in Lagos, they come after the IGBOS in the north
They riot over religion in the north, they come after the IGBOS in the north
If you start this protest in Abuja, Lagos or anywhere they're going to come after the IGBOS in Lagos and North.
We're tired of being a sacrificial lamb for the rest of Nigerians.
You see the same people organizing this protest all of them are convinced that Peter Obi was the best candidate, but give them opportunity after the protest, in the next election to vote right. All of them are going to go back to support their tribe's man and religious ideology. After doing that, when the consequences start coming they will start calling us out for a protest.
During the END SARS protest, some northerners started fighting the protesters because Buhari was in power. They went to Abuja and burned down over 200 vehicles belonging to IGBO car dealers.
Things are tough, we know
Nigerians are suffering, we're fully aware
But, you see this protest, we go just sidon dey look una.
Even if they're fronting any Igbo person, we don wash our hands comot from the protest.

Culled from Peter Agba Kalu.

There can't even be any nationwide protest. Dem no born any baga well.

Nigeria belongs to all of us not just the opposition
Your grammar is extremely poor for one who claims to have graduated from a university. I find your manner of speaking very similar to touts at the motor park. Please take note of the proper corrections. undecided

Informal Language:
Phrases like "Dem no born any baga well" are colloquial and should be rephrased for clarity and formality.

Grammar and Punctuation:
The statement lacks proper punctuation and capitalization.

Corrected Version
There can't even be any nationwide protest; no one has the courage for that.

Nigeria belongs to all of us, not just the opposition.
