mostob:But it's hard to believe an average coach will take England to Euro finals back to back. I don't think England have a better players than France, Germany or Spain. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Yamal or Nico should have won that MVP. When u think about Spain in this competition those are the 2 faces that come to ur mind. At least South America got their own right. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

mostob: Im mentioned those ones cos they're already 1st team starters. Gordon and Palmer na same level according to southgate(subs and not starters yet) So na Grealish and Rashford i mention na. Sterling wasn't fit i think. The other two were, last i recalled. If no be Southgate dey dia, those subs of Southie go at least see 1 start. As you said, na average coach. |

daveP:Gordon should be starting or at least getting reasonable minutes. They needed someone to stretch the other wing yesterday and free Saka but he refused to bring in Gordon who is a recognized LW in the squad. 1 Like |

zicky:This is an excuse. England got to the final due to the players' individual brilliance. The coach's input was zero. Like this man definitely knew where he needed to adjust but he failed to make a change. He is just an average coach. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by daveP(m): 12:11pm On Jul 15 |
mostob:Gordon can't start. We both know. He can't just walk into the XI cos that's how Southie thinks. Na emergency even make Mainoo enter XI and he's been a revelation. But they're that daft to realize that such risk is better than a dead and empty left wing. A pity. |

Southgate has exceeded all expectations with England.Their golden generation that had everything were serial quarter-finalists. To put it into perspective, it took them 24 years to reach the semis of a world cup after their first/only trophy in 1966. 6 Likes 1 Share |
