BlueRayDick: What do you call flaunting wealth? You changing your ragged Toyota and driving a Benz is flaunting wealth to your neighbors, you moving from Ajegunle to Lekki is flaunting wealth to your classmates who know You also dont need to flaunt, people who know you will know your life don upgrade Best thing is to move away from certain areas, even in America it happens, once those poor athletes hammer better cntracts they move to safer richer suburbs and only visit their hood once in a while 2 Likes |

raumdeuter: This here is the best advice. Get your money and get out the hood. If Lamont Coleman moved to Miami after his first album was successful, he’d still be alive today. The hood got too many haters for real who don’t care about anything at all but don’t want to see anyone shine if they can’t shine 1 Like |

raumdeuter: If u check my subsequent post on this, u will see where I suggested that once u make money u should move ur family away from trenches . It is not just about u moving alone, u need to move ur family and close relatives too. If u alone , criminals can go ahead to kidnap ur relative and demand ransom like they did to Sabinus and Mikel Obi twice . By the way, flaunting wealth I was referring to is u making showing off the Benz u buy , showing off ur new house , etc which Nigerian celebrities do regularly . So many social media content creators do this almost every week on social media . U see blogs posting them and congratulating them. Sometimes the bloggers will even post “ congratulations are in order as Sabinus acquires multi million Naira mansion “ 2 Likes |

raumdeuter: There are handful of robbers who have sacked a whole police station. There are handful of gunmen who have sacked Nigerian Military depot. Let more people have access to guns and people who are passive criminals will become full blown criminals |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:12pm On Jul 15 |
BlueRayDick: The filling station how many people there were armed and able to defend themselves? More people with access to guns mean more people able to defend themselves and not waiting like Xmas chicken to be picked You going out to commit crime means you have a high chance of not returning home. Unless you are a terrorist who hopes to die in the process, many criminals will think twice 3 Likes |

izzou:How are they hoarding food? Those farming are not just simply enough. No govt support for farmers. Do u know how much to book a day tractor here in Delta 250k just from 8- 6pm, how much is agro chemicals, fertilizer Urea 52k, among all other things needed. How will food products be cheap. 1 Like |

Godstime001: So in other words, food is not supposed to be cheap? Shebi? |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 3:22pm On Jul 15 |
izzou: I think what he’s saying is : High Cost of renting tractor, High price of Urea and high price of agro chemicals affects the price of food eventually . I think what he’s suggesting is that government needs to find a way to make some/all of the 3 items listed above cheaper so that food can be cheaper than it is. 1 Like |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 3:45pm On Jul 15 |
BlueRayDick: The whole point was about hoarding The guy was causing an artificial scarcity so he could make more profit. He was not losing. If the government provides free tractor; infact dash each farmer one tractor with 10 years fertilizer free, yet the farmer hoards, what's the difference? The guy hoarded his produce, which is his own business strategy, and he is entitled to it. When it backfires, and he loses, i do not pity him either. It was a risk in the first place |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:57pm On Jul 15 |
izzou: Those screaming hoarding are just chasing shadows People hoard because its not enough. If its enough and you hoard, you will end up eating your hoarded items by yourself What if the farmer said he planted 10 hectares of maize just to harvest and be looking at it or burn it? Its his right. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:01pm On Jul 15 |
raumdeuter: Good. Then the farmer should not cry when the government opens the borders, kill local production, just to make food cheap. He chose his strategy. If it favoured him, he would have made money. If it fails, he should take it as a man. 1 Like |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 4:06pm On Jul 15 |
raumdeuter: Yes the food and agric inputs are not enough to feed the whole federation coupled with insecurity, high cost of production and all, there is already scarcity because we are not producing enough, if those that are now producing the little now still go ahead to hoard it, it will triple the already expensive price. If the govt open border policy works and Agric produce flood the market, those hoarding will have no choice than to sell. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 4:10pm On Jul 15 |
izzou: Yes I agree, you cannot say govt should help you close border, but when you make harvest only help yourself You either do govt all the way or do without all the way 1 Like |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Godstime001: 6:45pm On Jul 15 |
izzou:Not that. If govt can support small maybe. For example one reason tractor renting skyrocketed is due to diesel price. Fertilizer also I think many are imported. As well as those agro chemicals. Govt could have helped by subsidizing fertilizers. Tractor rental price. U re business man na u should understand what I mean. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:48pm On Jul 15 |
Godstime001: I am not defending the government in any way. I understand that there are many factors that are hurdles for farmers. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:05pm On Jul 15 |
Godstime001: Fertilizers are actually produced here and even exported sef. But some of the raw materials and parts used in the plants are sourced from abroad . There are also companies who produce agro chemicals here but they also source for raw materials abroad. It actually dollar vs Naira matter that is affecting those ones . |
