3 months or so ago.

I eat so little its not often worth cooking.
And it plays havoc with my plumbing.

Besides, had my share as kid, 3 times a week.

Yuk, beans.

You mean nutritional treasury bills? That shit is for the above average now o. Beans is the new meat for low income families with growing kids. Just mix rice, beans, pepper, seasoning. You are a hood legend.

I buy the flour in a bottled container, then add two spoons to rice. It contains high amount of protein. If you want to cook beans to have the full taste of beans, then go for beans but if you're only concerned about balancing your diet, then to cut cost, just go for soya bean flour and use it as spice. You can also add it to raw garri when making garri for soup, it will change the colour of the garri as you use it to eat your soup. The most important thing is, you'll get protein than as the usual beans using soya bean flour.

cheap o. Nowadays people just dump a few seeds into rice or corn to serve as foundational protein.
Even the corn and cassava APC boasted of remains nutritionally elusive.

Thanks.
But your quote is confusing.
I was asking whether it was cheap.
Then again, you did not specified fully how one can cook it. Is it only by adding it to eba alone?

Sorry for the confusion, a bottle of soya beans from my regular customer is N1.8k, others sells at N2.1k. While at supermarket the least price you'll see is around 7k (avoid supermarkets as they add AC, electricity, and other bills on the price of their products). You can add it to rice, you'll love the taste it adds to your rice. You can add it to anything eatable as spice. You can add it to indomie, yam, plantain, etc. only two spoons of soya bean flour contains high amount of protein which is good for the body. You can add it when you're about to finish the cooking, probably the last ingredient to add to your meal in order to retain high amount of the protein in it. Since it's a flour, minimal heat can quickly cook it. So, add it as the last ingredient.
