Seeing that gives me a whole joy and I hope the Tiki Taka academy embraces the whole philosophy, including player selection and development.

I didn't watch England at Euro 2020/21 so I am speaking only from last two WCs and Euro 24.

It is hard to argue against results but I cannot deny the fact that Southgate has had very very good luck.

Then tell me what his contributions are as the coach. Nigeria reached AFCON final, that means JPes is world class too right?
average and world class are not the only classifications. A coach that has reached 2 euro finals, one WC semi is NOT an average coach. The players talent isn't even a good reason for their achievements considering that England has never lacked quality players yet they've always underperformed.

Looking at the bolded, are you for or against my stance? Or let me ask you why they underperformed.

Is it not time to stop calling it AFCON? Cos that's tautology

We don't hear copa America du nationale.
African Cup is quite okay or rename to a retouch of "Africa" like the Euros. What do you think?

This is an excuse. England got to the final due to the players' individual brilliance. The coach's input was zero. Like this man definitely knew where he needed to adjust but he failed to make a change. He is just an average coach.
I understand you point but I can't come to terms with the fact that an average coach will take England to Euro finals back 2 back. Player individual brilliance took them to this final, what about the previous one. You might not like his style of coaching maybe too conservative but I won grade him as average.

Back to back finals with this English team will easily qualify any coach as a world class coach.

How many finals did the Rooney,Scholes,Gerald & Lampard generation which is even more talented played?

So it was Spanish FA that discovered Lamal? I just do not understand you people's argument.

Nigeria has won more under 17 even in the MRI era than Spain so what are you on about? A boy is playing in a club in his country, and in his continent. Likewise we have many boys playing here in Nigeria, and Africa. So what da fuss about.
The meaning of you people's opportunity is white man definition of opportunity.
The argument should be we paying our players same salary.
TheGoodJoe:

The point is simple. The opportunities that abound in Europe is distant from many Nigerian talents.

Is it not the last U17 that the NFF manufactured list without a coach? Is it not the same NFF that had U17 in camp without supplies including food?

Many bright talents get left behind. Go to grassroot football and see many talents looking for the opportunity.

They met just one of the above teams and lost! They would not have beaten Germany or France.

But it's hard to believe an average coach will take England to Euro finals back to back. I don't think England have a better players than France, Germany or Spain.

If you watch those eras you would know they were simply unlucky especially with penalties. They played better teams and with VAR then they would have at least won a cup!

πŸ”΅ Victor Osimhen remains on Paris Saint-Germain list in case they sell one striker this summer.

No formal proposal on the table but he’s one of the names on PSG list, while also Saudi Pro League clubs are keen.

If Osimhen leaves, Napoli plan to go for Romelu Lukaku. πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

They already submitted 85m which Napoli rejected. They are preparing 90m plus 5 bonus. Osimhen to earn 13m.

With Morata gone to Milan, Athletico M wants Kolo!

Also, Conte is insisting on having Lukaku. Chelsea is looking at the possibilities of making a swap plus money for Osigoal!
