Try to find a way to get your passport back atlesst
Nicholasguzy:

Exactly! It’s not like I’m applying for a D national visa. Even if they had to do further investigation, 45 days is the max. Norway issued the same visa under the same category in 3 days. I decided to use France coz of the proximity which is the reason why I’m suspecting they are delaying it.

Go on

Go on https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en/nigeria

After you completed your application online it should direct you to the TLS to register with them and reserve your appointment.

But below is the Link.
https://visas-fr.tlscontact.com/visa/ng/ngLGV2fr/home

Hope that helps.

Good day all. I know this question must have been asked but I’m still finding it difficult to get an appointment on TLS website.. I’ve been running in circles.. the form is for my brother Inlaw but I used my email to fill the form and register on TLs. Can that be the problem. Or is it because I’m using a phone..

It will show book an appointment, and then select a country . And keep taking me back or it will go blank..

It was quite easier when I did mine last year with VFS. Now I don’t understand.

Please what are the dates available on TLS for those who reserved their appointment recently as first timer ?

We have an appointment scheduled for Monday the 22nd that slot was reserved as at the 8th of June, as we were not given any slot for June, looking like we may have to reschedule and travel date is first week of September.

I doubt if we will see any dates in august.

Greetings everyone please I am a footballer I got invitation from Spanish club for trials with accomodation so I was shocked to be denied visa though I suspected maybe because invitation date beared from April 20th while I submitted documents 22nd of April this year
Reason for denial was number 10 saying "The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable. Please who can explain better and what do I need to do on my next application?

I wanna ask if there’s a way I can reach the French consulate if I want to discontinue my application. I had contact TLS so many times and they couldn’t help at all. It’s going to be two months in couple of days since I applied and for a type C visa, the time frame is way too long.
Belgium will start receiving applications back by July 22 and I’ll love to submit my passport with them but I can’t do anything with my passport still with the French consulate and no sign of them returning it back soon
Anny good news brother?

Note that:
1. Sponsorship letter had names of the 3 kids in it but photocopied into 3
2. introduction letter was done separately for each child with day-to-day details of itinerary
3. flight reservations, hotel bookings, bank statements and evidence of employment was submitted only for myself (the adult) since the applications are in one group so no need submitting one for each person.
4. insurance was from aiico and for 12 days duration. Cost us around 20k total for 4 of us.
5. children bellow 12 yrs don’t need to attend biometric. Just make sure you snap them passport according to the size on France website. 2 passports each child.

If I remember anything else then I’d add it. Or pls feel free to ask for any clarification.

Congratulations! Did you submit a group (family) insurance or did you do individual insurance certificates for all 4 of you? Kindly confirm, thanks.

Oh thank you for keeping tabs bro.
So I got an email directly from the French consulate asking for some additional paperwork so as to process my application. A proof that we’ve got our marriage registered in her home country. So I’m working on that at the moment.

Oh that's a way forward bro. I got mine in 12 working days. Yesterday.
You see last time I asked you if the marriage is registered in Belgium.
You basically need to register it in Belgium then it will go smoothly.

I have just sucessfully booked travel insurance on aiico ( https://ebusiness.aiicoplc.com) for 4 people
So it doesnt give you the option to do family package, you have to apply for everyone individually, personal/data page details, country of destination, date of travel and so on.
I selected the Europe coverage of €35500.
And there are 2 different types of Europe coverage, cover is also €35500 but excess is different one is €50 and the other is €100.
The one with €50 cost almost 13k per person and the other with €100 excess is 8500k per person adults and children ( for a week duration) and there are other choices to choose from.
Hope this helps.

I guess a week or two. But I think it depends on the city. If it’s a populated one then it can take quite a long time to get an appointment and then the whole process.
