One of the phone numbers linked to the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has been compromised.

The governor’s spokesman, Olawale Rasheed, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

Rasheed urged the public to disregard any communications originating from the number, +234 803 365 7555.

He said, “Please disregard any solicitation from +234 803 365 7555. Appropriate action is ongoing to remedy the situation.

“Authorities are currently investigating the breach and are working diligently to secure the governor’s communication lines.

“The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.”

Most scams are perpetrated (or become accomplices) by people working for the service providers you use....bankers, staff members, etc.

I see scammers hacking Tinubu's phone numbers, I see them using it to borrow money from loan sharks, I see the loan sharks calling Tinubu's contacts and calling him a fraudster because he can't pay back.

I see DSS arresting all the loan sharks agents, I see loan sharks banned permanently in Nigeria.

This I have seen.

Oga don go open one randy pisure wey dem send enter him phone. 😅

Gadgets are mostly hacked by directly storing a malware on it in person or virtually through files with malwares. But seriously, no one is safe from these guys, even an innocent looking PDF fit carry malware enter your device and operate on a low key.

Omo hundreds of millions just like that.

Every Nigerian wants to be super rich (mostly to avoid hardship, not because we want to change the world). You cannot be super rich and completely honest. That’s why the majority of us are dishonest.

Something smells fishy..
How did the scammer figure out who the phone number belong to?
What is the intention of the scammer?
What has he done so far with the number?
Take quick loans or got access to bank accounts?

For every scam there's a link to someone that got access to some data/file.

Sir check the people around you.

And if that's not the case, you must have clicked on links or files that got malware that have harvested your information, so not just you is at risk sir but every other contact on your device

So are you trying to tell us that the governor of a state in Nigeria cannot afford to buy phones of good quality? undecided
