Without considering the outstanding shares, size of business, efficiency, wealth creation ability

A N10 stock can be very expensive, while a N1000 can be ridiculously cheap
Your points are valid though. There is nothing I'll talk now that others have not said on Oando. But Oando reminds me of MRS @ N12 about 4 years ago, when I was carelessly looking at it. Then, MRS was making losses in their financial statements back to back. All of a sudden MRS returned to profitability and reached N110 within a year. All the losses, negative retained earnings etc of Oando can be wiped off within a year with the way the company is going.

This is my personal opinion though.

Based on my back-of-the-envelope calculation, taking this 40 kobo dividend as the only consideration, Mansard should be valued at least above 5.5 naira, potentially anywhere between 5.5 and 10 naira per share. lipsrsealed embarassed cheesy

Good morning people.
2 quick questions please.

1. I've been trying to sell BUAFOODS stock since last week and it's not selling. Same thing with some other stocks. Please any idea what could be happening currently with these stocks.

2. The ngx trading floor level 4 real time access, is it better than using your brokers quotes? Does it display quotes before brokers do? What are the advantages?

Thanks guys

Hhmmm....
Follow your mind.....
Going by the meeting notice however, there's possibility of bonus and interim dividend for the first time, maybe that's one of the reasons it's getting positive attention in market....

Well just a guess, 50K or N1 wont be bad, based on the 19billion reserve they have, while a bonus of 1 new share for 2 or 5, wont be a bad idea.

Let wait and see !!!

I'll answer your first question. I don't seem to understand the 2nd question.

Buafood is very illiquid (meaning there aren't as much buyers as there are sellers) whenever it is not rallying. Conoil, seplat and a lot of the companies with big price is same. Some companies with low prices are also in the same boat too.

If you need to get out fast, set your price @10% below current market price. You might get lucky to exit but not as fast as you think. If you use Morgan capital, you can use the "good until cancelled" option which allows you to set a maximum future date until your offer gets filled while not having to monitor the market daily.

1. Nothing is happening to the stocks....
They're more of seasonal and would only respond the demand and supply power....
News, such as Dividend declaration and special news drive them the more........also respond to expectations of results (positive results).

2. Real time Access is better....
It displays real time quotes...
Advantages includes: you can trade yourself, you can adjust your quotes (bids or offers) up or down as you like, you can bid lower higher, depending on the demand for such stocks, you can cancel your bids, some houses allow you to lock in bid/offer for 7 - 30 days, you can view all tradings as it's going on real time, etc.
