Every child and adult of Nigerian descent knows too well that leadership corruption, greed and insensitivity is the primary reason Nigeria has remained a poverty stricken third world nation, despite the abundance of human and natural resources. We talk about it everyday and we lament the leadership corruption at every opportunity... but whenever it's time for elections, we still elect the most greedy and most notoriously corrupt individuals as leaders and somehow hope for a miracle to happen?

The day I heard that Dangote is importing crude oil from Brazil to Nigeria, then refining it to sell back to Nigerians is the day I gave up on Nigeria. How can you buy what you have in abundance? That means any President that comes in will inherit huge debt and then leave worse huge debt.

Painful thing is, Oil is the only resources we depend on and by 2050, the world would be EV-dominated so no one will need the oil.
