You can't change that narrative...it's embedded in STONE. grin

The two sentences in your write up contradict each other because if I have a right to protest, then I should protest exactly where the hunger caught me - Lagos.

The only way there shouldn't be a protest is IF there is no hunger in Lagos.

This is a simple way to quickly dissect illiterate posts.

Dey whine yourself, will you want to be buried in a strange land? If no, go back to your state and do your protest there, if you do in Lagos and you are caught up in stray bullet, know that our burial ground will reject your corpse. Enough

Seems you are unemployed sir?
Everyday you wake up before 5 am and start making comments or no value on random threads from morning till night .
Seems you don't have a job because you do this everyday Monday to Sunday.
Before you start claiming to be a content creator / copy writer, I work with lots of them and none of them do this.
What do you really do for a living that you are here every working day or the week from morning till night ?
undecided

I just got to the office and first thing I see is 25 comments by you ?

What are you doing with your time at almost 40 year sof age sir ?

Mumu. Content creator co influencer ni. Suffice to say I make money while asleep or awake. Makes no difference. Mosy clever and innovative businessmen do same with e-commerce. I therefore choose when to be asleep of awake.

Dullardly stalker, your obsession is growing but you need to try harder. In only a day, you already look like a pathetic troll following around someone disinterested in your unrequited attention.

PLANNED PROTEST: EKO O NI GBAGBAKUGBA

By Olaseni O. Egbeyemi

It has been widely circulated that some groups are planning what they term a "Mega Protest." Every Nigerian, regardless of where they live, has the right to protest against injustice.

The current situation affecting the standard of living is dire and disheartening. The high cost of food and essential items is appalling, and the masses are suffering.

It is often said that a hungry man is an angry man. People are genuinely hungry and angry. When pushed to the brink, they are likely to react in ways they may not be able to control.

We have witnessed both peaceful and violent protests in Nigeria. The last End SARS protest was particularly intense and destructive, resulting in significant loss of lives and properties. During that protest, organized by the youths, several lessons were learned by the organizers, the government, and the general public. Unfortunately, some elements used the protest as a cover for vindictiveness and the destruction of government and private properties.

In the end, it was revealed that the protest had sinister motives with political undertones.

The regrouping of certain elements in and around Lagos to organize another protest is uncalled for. Yes, the masses are hungry and angry, but it is alleged that some individuals, mainly from a specific section of the country, are calling for these protests as a continuation of their unfinished End SARS agenda, which caused chaos in parts of the country.

Anyone willing to protest should do so in their states of origin. "Our Lagos" is a center of excellence, not a center of destruction.

The Lagos State Government, security agencies, and responsible citizens should condemn and prevent these plans. Many have come to Lagos seeking greener pastures and have found success here. Destroying Lagos or targeting properties for destruction should not be tolerated.

The efforts of government to alleviate this suffering should be supported and encouraged, not called into question with another destructive protest. Nigeria is not Kenya. Lagos is not Nairobi.

We must protect the Lagos we inherited and continue to prosper in it. We cannot stand by while those who left their villages to thrive in Lagos rise to destroy it.

"Eko o ni gbagbakugba"

Let the protesters go to their villages and protest there, not in "OUR LAGOS." The right to protest is not the right to destroy.

E FI EKO SILE... EKO O NI BAJE, O BAJE TI.

LAGOS IS RISING.
when I saw the name of the writer, and I went through the write up, trust me, I wasn't surprised but my biggest pain is that, how can well educated and formerly detribalized region relegated themselves to this level because of the aspiration of one man? The destruction Tinubu did to Yoruba race it will take years to solve. The hated for other tribes is alarming. I was in Lagos during elections I and my wife was not allow to vote because we both looked fair, even with much explanation that we are from middle belt we were not allow to, but today only senator in fct is Yoruba and so called president resides in Abuja north central. When north will come for you guys, you will beg for help from Igbo and south south if you can't love your neighbor, is it us from north you will love? Soon you will be left alone. These politicians are friends across board but foolish tribalistic and religious forks are given them chance to suffer everyone. If their is protest, I will gladly join, if I'm in Abuja or Lagos I will join nothing will happen.
