nedekid: The real meaning of economy is to, Maintain a particular status of the economy as u collect it from another manager keep managing it the way u found it, try to see if u can improve it slightly in a positive way even if it is by 0.1% gain. Making big changes at once means to set a completely new order which will alter the entire system configuration and thereby have a ripple effect. Any new government coming in right now need to Maintain the tinubu status quo then build it slowly in a positive way otherwise same issue will reoccur in every 4 or 8 years. U don’t change economy with force of propaganda. 2 Likes 1 Share |

We are the problem of this country because I do not see a sense in someone defending nonsense, someone saying even if fuel is sold for 5k it's still the cheapest hmm and with ethnic basement hmm. The country that are buying fuel expensively is either they have a good economy or they are slightly not part of the oil producing countries and they equally have a good structure to leverage every exorbitant pricing. Nigeria could be better than this as we have all it takes to be a great nation we should be a lender not a borrower. 1 Like |

Lanruze: El rufai won't get any, Tinubu is in bed with deep Hausa who are eager to take control from the Fulani suppression for years.. That is why the Fulani are trying to rebel Tinubu's government. Fulani are a distant minority the herders & famers clash has sown a seed of discord and distrust between them. Fulani's are herders Hausa's are farmers Do you get it ![]() |

tuoyoojo: The removal of the subsidy and increment of the fuel price brought good to the allocation that goes to the government. The federal government and state governors now happen to get more money to themselves than they used to. Our yearly budgets that never exceeded 12trillion naira all thru Jonathan's regime is now about to hit over 20trillion naira. Tinubu is even applying for extra 6 trillion to be added to what was just approved by the House of assembly. https://www.nairaland.com/8157177/tinubu-writes-nass-raise-2024 All these extra source of money would never have been possible without removal of the fuel subsidy. Do you understand? The money the importers were earning before are now being earned by the President and state governors, while the masses suffer more than they used to. |

Kindly show a post where you said something similar or this nature when Jonathan removed fuel subsidy.Did Tinubu also say something similar bro this when Jonathan was in charge? We shouldn't be selfish in our campaign for a better Nigeria. You guys have forgotten that being a gentleman is an act of strength and not naivety. You think we aren't aware of the dirty calculated actions taken to frustrate Jonathan just to grab power by all means. The gentleman left it for Buhari and Tinubu. Buhari has failed and it's Tinubu's turn to fail. It's the workings of the law of Karma. The same policy you fought against is the same you are implementing. No be juju be that? Tribalism will never make me sound some how I will say the truth even if it's my village man there. On a good day those men in his cabinet would have performed well but that Karma flavour will do it's dirty job Unfortunately, it's the masses that will suffer. SensualMan: 1 Like |

Re: Petrol Landing Cost Now ₦1,117/Litre – Marketers by tuoyoojo(m): 8:56am On Jul 18 |
nairamaniac: Very true. As long as the masses who bear the burden of the subsidy removal have nothing to gain then let the current agreement be sustained Like what someone said if they sell fuel for 5k a litre in a short time, they would bring another talk that the landing cost is now 29k a litre |
