Can you imagine what's our priority, not bringing up the standard of education, but making sure that those under the age of 18 doesn't gain admission 14 Likes 1 Share |

The Minister’s sons and daughters and grandchildren (all abroad) are getting their university degree before they are 18 years. The minister is not focused on making our universities competitive or improving the output from our universities. What is the problem exactly with having 16 year old get admission? Their counterparts in other countries do. You even find a 16 year old having a more robust frame of mind and strength of will than those older. Parents would now send their children to study in South Africa and Ghana. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Very foolish......at a time when other countries are producing engineers at 18 and PhD holders with ground-breaking research at 20. Instead of focusing on the quality of the education and overhauling the very rubbish curriculum we use in producing half-baked graduates, you are pegging age of entry. This is what you get when you make an aboki Minister of Education. 24 Likes 2 Shares |

I think it’s okay If you graduate from high school at 16 Then the next 3years should be for learning skills or digital skills before your age finally qualify you to seek admission As a Computer scientist if I was introduced to digital Skills at my early age… by now me and Mark Zuckerberg would hav been working closely together.. Don’t let ur kids make same mistake 23 Likes |

Even though I don't have hope in this government but can't fault this. Stop rushing children into adulthood, it's irresponsible In the so called saner climes, what is the age benchmark for University entry? Now the govt must make sure no more strike and 4 years = 4 years. 15 Likes |

I finished secondary school school at 16. My brain still hot and sharp. So what will a human being be doing between that she and 18? Do they understand the theory of use and disuse? Do they know that we are still a drug epidemic? That youths can become lazy as quick as a fox? Ah! 3 Likes |
