Good afternoon guys.

It's hard to work in Naija. Police people are tryna kill me.

Today, I left my home and I was stopped in palm Avenue Mushin. Offence. My temporary driving license expired on the 09/07/24. Exactly 6 days ago.

I was driven to zone D mushin. After every every, I parted with 10k plus 5 hundred for gate. Total =10500...

Immediately, I proceeded to lastma office oshodi where I did the temporary and I got an extension at till 30th of August... I felt invisible and I proceeded to look for client. I saw one just at the oshodi interchange, she was going to mushin(make I dey go house back)

I never start motor a policewoman stopped me at same oshodi interchange.. I gave her a complete paper work of the car plus the new temporary license. She certified everything alright and said it remain "Hackney permit"

After long talk, I offered 1k. She refuse. I showed her my opay, na 2k remain. I offered to transfer to her, make I dey go house drop motor. She refuse transfer. And asked me to go withdraw blah blah.

I left angrily. Using map to find my way, trying not to make some funny turn as Lastma people have dealt with me.

As I was going, another set at mile 2 stopped me, wielding gun etc. Treated me like a criminal, searched my car, asked for the usual etc, I told them it was collected by a policewoman at the oshodi inter change.

Since 12, I have been detained inside a nearby korope in mile 2. My car, my Temporary driving Licence, the new temporary extension I got few hours ago, everything is not in my position...

Current situation.

I wish I could make a case against them. This is not how to treat a law abiding citizen.

Respectfully any officer given money for the offence you listed is a gift....

As the owner-driver, it's more profitable, speaking from experience.
Moreover, you have the better tool (1.8L tool), you're 100% good to go.

Much respect, boss.

Like it's that easy.

Just tell the person what he wants to know and stop asking someone to go through stress of reading pages that won't guarantee him finding the useful info he need.

1. Your license and car documents (vehicle license, road worthiness & 3rd party paper)

2. Profitability depends on how you work...

3. There are groups, but NL here should be your best bet when it comes to drivers gathering

4. Tips, put it on a month probation and you will be able to decide if you can survive the heats that comes with it.

Goodluck

The little you need to know about starting emailing.

Sorry about your job loss...in d mean time u can register on Uber, Bolt or Indrive and start taking trips. Start by downloading the App from the play store, or visiting the office if need be.

U need a clean, well functioning car with AC and ofcourse your drivers licence to register. In the process of registration u will be told all relevant documents u need depending on the App u want to register on.

Depending on the State u reside, d app is still relatively profitable. If u know the city u want to drive in very well, it's an added advantage.

U will not value any tip now until u start taking trips and gaining experience and begin to ask specific questions.

Good luck

Everything I needed to run with as a rookie. I got it from this platform. This is a treasure mine.
I read every damn page on this thread before I started.
The days of gazzuzz, gobichini, Fahrenz, chucsmoore, izzou, eherbal, and that oven lighting comrade, and a host of other veterans. I have forgotten his moniker ..

Before I took my first trip to Akoka. I had a clear mental picture of the one -ways there ,all from this thread. One of the veterans just jokingly mentioned the small one way ( birikisu iyiade) before the turning to Unilag. Then , no notice was even placed on the road as @ then. It was a slaughter house for the local govt touts.

Revelation is the mother of faith. If he reads, when he meets it on the field, it's going to sync because already he has stacked himself with the documented experiences of hundreds of drivers.

Be prepared. sad

Been anticipating this since last year.

I thought they would finish the Opebi - Ojota link road first before blocking the bridge for repairs.

Your money didn’t increase once your car picked. Whatever you were picked for will be there till it is cleared. I have already done my road worthiness. Went for inspection and was told to come back. Did that twice and got tired of going. The mad queue and everything. In ignorance we learnt. Now I know you can go to anywhere to inspect and it doesn’t have to be the particular center. That was how they give me that. How they book me for insurance is what I don’t know till that. I can fight it, but once you do and it doesn’t favour one, then the money can’t be reduced. Right now I can pay 20/30 out of the 40k and clear it. I’ll clear it sha.

Boss, are you implying that if one has 20k bill, for instance, and pay just 10k, for instance, the 20k bill can be cleared?

Please, has anyone converted his car from gasoline to CNG? . Out of curiosity, I made enquiry at one of the mobil filling station in Lagos and I was told the least price for conversion is N800k, besides, how true is the information about the FG directing all commercial bus drivers to go and convert their buses free

This means the price is coming down. I was given a bill of 1.2m to convert my 5cylinder vehicle from fuel to CNG

Bought a car with 60k on it. I paid 40k and got it cleared. But once you challenge the offence, a kobo can’t be deducted from it and you’ll have to pay before I stipulated time. Secondly, it depend on your connection. On the flip, I don’t think you can have a discount on 20k.

You're just downgrading bolt to even compare it to a 100k salary, imagine 100k wey bolt go give you in a week, you dey underrate bolt o.

100k will carry you a whole 1month and 2 weeks? Pls, how much do you spend daily on feeding, let's start from there to know if you're being realistic or exaggerating...

I just opened my Bolt app this morning and found the information in the screenshot image.

Please what does this mean? Does it mean my car is delisted or the location is delisted. Anyone who has experienced this before?

Edit. I'm a newbie who only works on Weekends. Pardon my question
