A video has captured the moment Labour leaders appreciated President Tinubu’s resolution on the new minimum wage.

The Union leaders were seen giving three GBOSAs to the president at the end of the meeting in Aso Rock.

News360 Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu has approved a new minimum wage of N70,000 for Nigerian workers.

The announcement was made during a meeting with leaders of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in Abuja on Thursday.

A statement by the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed that the new minimum wage will be reviewed every three years.

Alex Otti won't like this. The man can't even pay ordinary 30,000 and wants to keep paying salary of between 18k to 20k to Abia state workers.

I understand there is a state that still pays 15k monthly in this same Nigeria. I saw the people of that state insulting Tinubu for approving 70k as minimum wage because according to them, 70k can't buy a bag of rice. So how many bags of rice can 15k buy?

As amusing as this sounds, it is still the people of that state always calling others slaves. How more can one be slave than this? Slaves are paid 70k and masters get 15k. Mbok, if that is the meaning of slave, I will rather be one.

They are insulting Tinubu for approving 70k while their gov is paying 15k. They said 70k can't buy a bag of rice. I'm asking, how many bags of rice can 15k buy?

Shame on you!! Big shame on you. Are now a fan of the Ajaero man?!
We remember very well how you and your fellow ronus bunch kept attacking the Ajaero day and night over the strikes that led to this increment now simply cos he's Igbo.
When he was beaten up and arrested, you hypocrites opened threads upon threads and laughed and made all sorts of mockery. We remember how you always accused him of being an obi agenda... God will always put the enemies to shame..

This is a sad day for the emergency lovers of Nigeria who think by hating Tinubu and his government will automatically earn them presidency in 2027. The truth is that their messiah will not even get up to what he got last time because no Northerner will vote for anyone that will deny them presidency in 2031. That has ruled their messiah out except he goes back to his vomit to be VP

If you don't want to earn 70k per month, then go and find another job that will pay you more. Simple as ABC.
