To me it is better the Governors write it than the FG to write it. What they are trying to do is to strip Governors of power and giving President absolute power. |

Paraman: Good suggestion, however with Tony Okocha's submission if INEC takes over the conduct of the election, the results will henceforth be written in the office of Chief of Staff to the President. The only achievement would be to remove the rigging from the governors and handed it over to the president. "Nigeria we hail thee". I look forward to when Tony Okocha would be arrested for this fraud he confessed. |

nemos: I'm one of the persons who don't care about who won or lost.. But to see that the upright procedures were maintained.. And that the fraudulent procedures were either defeated during the elections, or during the petitions. The only bad thing is that none of the known politicians or political-analysts think the way I think... And I am not a popular political-analyst yet. |

I'll prefer my fellow State man to appoint LG chairmen and councillors in my state than yakubu stranger from Abuja to appoint one for me. Because inec will only repeat what they are known for nationally at the local level; selling to the highest bidder. president will be appointing LG chairmen and councillors for you. |

oluwaseyi0: Makes sense and LG elections should always be before state elections. So chairmen and council wards are elected and seated before state gov elections. It would make state governors powerless over them, and let the election be conducted federally by INEC. |
