So technically what NNPC is saying is that even if dangote refinery start refining fuel, they'll still be importing it. Thus leading to a constant increase in the price.
I'm surprised that some people are surprised that the NNPC and the syndicate would do everything possible to frustrate Dangote and his refinery.
Why do you think they removed public subsidy and keep subsidizing the supply from NNPC?
Other fuel station owners could not keep up since NNPC was selling below the landing cost of petrol. They had to sell their stations to NNPC. With over 80% of fuel stations now owned by NNPC, who do you think will buy refined petroleum products from Dangote refinery?
Did you hear that the NNPC refused to pay their outstanding money for the stakes they acquired in the Dangote refinery?
It's a ground plot to keep the prices up.
By the time they complete the take over of all the fuel stations on Nigeria, they'll take the price of petrol to #1500 and we'll be left with no choice than to buy from them.
The only thing that Dangote can do now is to build fuel stations massively across Nigeria and sell his own products.

stupidity and madness can be summarized as doing same thing over and over yet expecting different outcome. You guys support Azikiwe in 2015, he failed. Supported you packaged failure by rebranding him in 2019 as a VP, he brought his principal bad luck. 2023 he hijacked a party Mimiko has use to great effect and still failed. Be consoling yourself with they are hungry talk. You are hungry and power hungry at same time.

You think the people who benefit from the importation of PMS will watch you take away food from their mouth?

It's like someone who does phone charging business for a living, they will never support any initiative that will bring about stable electricity.

The billions they make importing oil is more important to them than a cheap fuel produced here.

Naija!! It is finished!!

Enemies of the country are beginning to reveal themselves.

Why would his products not contain more sulphur when he has to import his crude from countries with high sulphur because you refuse to give him Nigerian low sulphuric crude?

See them o, they are revealing themselves. How can someone say we must have imported crude for energy security. These are the people that want importation to continue. Na them be this o!! Take note of the name.

Oya supply Quality Analyst data to back it up .. talking crap .. Alhaji that use to go the extra miles to ensure quality is achieved. NNPC wants to continue in their importation Monopoly... Dangote is not the only one in the Market so the issue of monopoly is absolute nonsensical.... You just miss the days of been the sole importer ... Shikena and na gbese you left us with. First you stupidly didn't take up your stake, now you are badmouthing him .. If Dangote goes down would you employ the thousands of workers he is employing ...

When I see Nigerians eulogize Dangote and hail him for building on local content, I just laughed at the level this Fulani con man has deceived so many Nigerians. Remember when he started his cement production and the normal cliché then was the affordability of price of cement. Today, cement has gone to the roof top despite Nigeria's local capacity of that products. Today, this evil genius wants to monopolize the oil downstream sector and corner the supply chain of the crude oil by playing politics and demanding that IOCs plays to his rhythm so that he will control the price indices, thus, monopoly of supply. The evil we are fighting is Dangote, not IOCs. Even before he comes fully on stream, Nigerians are already feeling the heat of this Fulani evil manipulator. I tell you, Nigerians will pay with their teeth if Dangote succeed in his control because his monopoly of cement industry is not a palatable one

I think you should attack nnpc instead of those attacking dangote.
The NMPRA guy is who I was referring to. He has power to sanction Dangote for bad fuel. Besides bad fuel quality is easy to ascertain. Just buy few litres sample and sent to labs outside the country for tests and the fowl yanch will be exposed.

I will advise the fool attacking Dangote to answer by making public owned refinery under them provide us with clean fuel.
Simple the test is not that hard, it is there job to make sure the product passes quality test and if it fails apply what the law says instead making such claim without applying the necessary sanctions, besides I think the war is good. Dangote don't need to convince them, make his product cheaper than the imported one and see who will win at the end of the day.

They know the above so inflated local supply of crude towards Dangote with $4-$6 a barrel. Dangote circumvented their asseş by getting from America. Let them sell to intl buyers at their inflated rates and let's see.
The idea was to shift the leakage point to crude supply to Dangote so they have their cut and Dangote can recover it from Nigerians.

And all of a sudden those who have never worked or run a successful refinery have become experts on distillation and premium PMS.

Dangote has sold jet fuel/diesel over the past months and so far no negative reports from his customers.

Nigeria, is there an end to state sabotage and racketeering?

This fellow cares about monopoly… do these guys listen to themselves? Where’s the promised refinery?

In one breath we wish to attract foreign investment, then we sabotage their business.

Well, Mr Dangote, tick-tock, you’re running out of time, EU green deal is happening. Jaguar just ended their gasoline line of vehicles. Angola is set to increase production capacity later this year. Your client base is shrinking by the minute.

NNPC may just be wading for your bankruptcy and then purchase your refinery, think fast.

BUA (Abdulsamad Rabiu) will just be spending his midnight prayers meditating on Oil Mafia strategies and be thinking if it worth it for him to concentrate fully on his Refinery Project in AkwaIbom or wait to see the end of the Mafia game plan.

I was also wondering why Mike Adenuga that is into upstream and downstream oil sector has not gone into Refinery Project.

Actually, the Indian man at Dangote Refinery is a very experienced person. This is the 3rd time he will expose NNPC, each time, the NNPC fights back. This time around, Malam Farouk, a man of few words came out openly and very hard against Dangote Refinery, this calls for great attention. The game is very risky. Portharcourt Refinery can never deliver by August.
