They should rest.

All these back and forth talks is a deliberate way of making the protest idea popular.

Everybody can protest in their states and doesn't have to come to Lagos to show strength.

Somehow you are trying to blame them for the protest 😂

This isn't about he who has ears. They've maintained severally that they didn't support tinubu so, only those who voted him should protest for disappointing them while they stay aloof. It's common sense.

I support this because I can see they're the most hated and marginalised tribe in Nigeria. I've always been an advocate of the igbos. I share in the baba Ayo Afebanjo and OBJ's school of thoughts. A tree doesn't make a forest. I've been forcefully tagged igbo by several illiterate supporters of Tinubu who are now suffering and smiling but who cares? Iwofa lęnu.

During the endsars protest of 2020, they fingered igbos, despite the obvious as the brain behind it. They blindly ignored the viral video of our youths swimming inside the oba akiolu's palace's pool, enjoying themselves after carting away his dollars stashed inside coffin and acussed ibos of staging the protest

Give an ibo man the chance to rule for just 4 years and see what alot of you have been blinded from seeing cos of tribalism. Now that it's our turn, what have we made of it? Any protests that erupt in Nigeria is always linked to ibo. That's inhumanity against man. Let them go, una refuse. Please if you're ibo, don't join that protest before haters begin burning down your investments.

Staying away doesn't make you cowards cos I know you're not cowards. Stay in your homes and allow those who caused us this mess to stage the protest alone. We warned them. They say you're tribalists but you voted obasanjo twice, even when we abandoned him in his first term in office.

Kai,I've been in this forum for years. You and one other Yoruba guy are the only ones that conistently make sense to me. I once asked the other guy if he's sure he is Yoruba, He laughed and told me something. He said that a typical Yoruba man has expertise in denying reality, If not for you, him and my former boss, I had concluded that all Yoruba are irredeemably hypocritical tribalists, even your women. Thanks for being you. Who know why you guys are different? Why do you have this fair-mindedness and objectivity? Are your parents both Yoruba? Pardon my many qustions.

Chinedu. We have seen them rule Anambra and co.. let them turn their 5 plot region to Dubai first then we can start taking them serious.
If you like , call me chukudi, ko kan aye. Only a fool will compare Anambra or Abia or whatever with lagos, a cosmopolitan city in terms of population and revenue generation. I live in alimosho. Our population alone will swallow up that of Anambra and abia.

That said, over 50% of investments in Lagos are owned by ibo. You may disagree but take a look at it from those in charge of hospitality business in lagos. A large percentage of hotels here are owned by them, likewise household wares products. Go to Coker, Odunade, trade fair, alaba...90% of shop owners selling them are ibo. In banking, they own some of the leading banks here, you know already. What of spare parts, na dem. Who pay a higher percentage as tax to lagos government, them of course. They are leaders in pharmaceuticals too.

We will not realise all these facts until Nigeria finally breaks up. I don't know your age but if you were grown up during June 12 election annulment protest, when almost all of them were called home, you'd have an idea what I'm talking about. Everywhere was desolate. Lagos looked like a ghost town cos we couldn't see things to buy. Protesters were seen breaking their shops they left behind and looting. That was the only protest in Nigeria, which tribalists didn't link to ibo. Life returned after normalcy was restored. That's why I always encourage youths amongst us to begin learning what we may lack once Nigeria breaks up cos it won't be funny.

You really didn't need to say it out loud.

I believe it's common sense for the Igboid stock to stay clear of this..

Out of all the miscreants that were caught and jailed during the End SARS mayhem in Lagos, only a certain Chinasa was handpicked and coloured around all the national media making it look like it was an Igbo sponsored act.

Spot on.

It's Nigeria's agenda to label the Igbos a criminal group. If it was possible for them, they would untag the latter and tag it as Igbo terrorists.

As you can see, birds of a feather, flock together. Before I answer your question, why did you think tinubu didn't win lagos? The same lagos he claimed to have built with his fake ideas? All those supporting him are just like him. They're not a true representation of the yoruba nation. If Pa Awo were to be alive today, tinubu wouldn't have neared power cos he can't wear his shoes. We're an intelligent and organised people.

I'm not a tribalist and i've worked with all the tribes. A tribalist is an isolated and retarded man or woman. Its a very bad mentality. You're merely telling God that His handiwork isn't good by being tribalistic and its got spiritual undertone which those following the path don't seem to know, until they set themselves free. They hardly progress in life due to their crude ideology. They always act like slaves and they keep suffering due to their stupidity. Tribalism consequences are very deep my broda. Even some of your people do this. Its a general disease which we must jointly cure.

Only fools and poor people fight over tribes. The head of technical dept in my company is ibo from Urata in Imo state. We've travelled abroad together for training several times. One of his kinsmen even told me to have him sign a bond, that he may run away but I refused. It's been 12 years since he joined us and has never run away.

The larger percentage who contributed to Tinubu's loss in lagos were yorubas. I'm from alimosho, the largest LG in Nigeria by population, where yorubas constitute about 91% of the entire population, we didn't vote tinubu. Remember he lost in Osun state too. In the remaining Yoruba states where he lost, he bribed his way thru. Ekiti people protested after they declared tinubu winner in the state. They said they didn't vote him.

Good one, we don't need their presence in the protest, we have the number to achieve our goal without the participation of the minority. We voted for Tinubu single handedly without Igbos so we don't need them now. Tinubu knows that if the North blacklist him he automatically lost his chances in the next election. You didn't vote for him so your boycotting the protest is inconsquential
Tinubu don't need your votes to be re-elected in 2027, so stop all these chest beating. Tinubu will surely complete his 8 years tenure, no mortal will eve stop his re-election bid. Know this and know peace, North is never a threath to it

U are on your own as your protest is inconsequential. It is not even likely to hold water in the South west. A counter protest against you people plan is coming up at the same time by the sane Nigerians. Try any nonsense, u go collect wotowoto and absolutely nothing will happen.
If u are not comfortable with a southerner ruling ,move for the country to o part ways , it will be granted , because, u know what? The north draws back the country anytime u people are in power except Yaradua. So go ahead with ur useless protest.

So Igbos are afraid of blame? grin. Go ahead and blame us to see if we care. Majority are not afraid of blame. And look, we have already achieved the aim of the protest by the actions of the president for the last two days but the protest must continue unless the president call us for a meaningful dialogue which he must do before the date

Do you know how many Igbos were killed because of ENDSARS?

Do you know that hundreds of Igbos were killed in Obigbo Rivers state, because of ENDSARS.

You are obviously not aware. Oh so you think Igbos are talking about just vocal blaming.

The Nigerian army was sent in to kill hundreds of Igbos, and when this was happening, all the other ethnic groups that took part in the ENDSARS protest kept quiet.
Some of them even went ahead to blame Igbos for ENDSARS. Some of those Igbos are still languishing in unknown military detention centres.
