Man how I wish we can get a LEGEND OF THE SEEKER remake. Sorely missed the sorcery with Zeddicus Zul Zorander and Mord Siths and Mother Confessor shït. Damn, Richard Cipher and Lord Rahl and Kara. Omo we really had good shit in that fantasy adventure back then.
I don't want a Merlin remake (before someone reminds me of that). 😤

Now thinking about it, I remember how the BBC cancelled ATLANTIS. 😭 Man, those ancient Rome/Greece stories was my jam. That's why I appreciate BLOOD OF ZEUS the more but fvvking netflix will definitely take two whole years just to give you a season of animation.

Ha bring back memories of breathtaking Kara. That woman was hot back then.

I would personally like a remake of the star gate universe. It was one of my guilty pleasure way back when.

We can tell the stories. The problem is getting the cinematography right.

For such stories, I'd recommend the 300 Spartans or Lord of the Rings kind of cinematography and color grading.

Or I'm mixing my memories up. I Remember EbonyLife Ltd having a production deal with Netflix? Saw Osun deity in development.

The boys season 4 just feels like a filler season to season 5.

Finale was underwhelming to be honest.

At least they finally brought back Cindy from season 2, looks like Kimiko's voice is back and soldier boy returns for season 5.

Seeing lists like this just made me realise how out of the loop I am with this season's Emmys.
Over 80% of the shows on here I never watch. The funny thing is I have over half of them on my list or downloaded already.


At least since the Emmys Award Ceremony is September 15th, I hope I would have caught up by them. 😢😢

I just saw the first episode. The CGI is not so great, especially for the lion. Some of the acting is too cliche and amateurish. But inspite of those complaints, I love ancient Rome and the setting and story set up in this episode.

I would give it 3 out of 5 stars and not judge the first episode too harshly, set up is usually rough.




Edit: I just finished episode two and I am glad I stayed with it. The acting is much improved, the plot thickens and what's cooking is quite intriguing. The CGI of the Forum was brilliant, or maybe my eyes have adjusted. Some modernities and historical inaccuracies will have to be overlooked, what remains though is not bad at all. On to episode 3...

The Acolyte is a complete let down. The only thing worth watching is the saber duels, aside that, everything is bland.
