My dear Dele, it was nice to see you again at chief Osoba's 80th birthday, just as it is to read your comments about my rejoinder to Reno's response to your condemnation of this administration.

Frankly speaking and putting sentiments apart, Reno's response to your article was a masterpiece in terms of facts assembled therein. I am always in awe of that young man's ability to research and succinctly put together his narratives. You may hate Reno, or be angry with him for his opinions but his facts are unassailable.

With me also I am surprised u also did not stay with the facts. U retorted that I hv advised and praised every govt since 1999. That is not true. I only acted as adviser in the Obj's administration , which remains one of the most successful since the advent of the 4th Republic. I did not play any significant role in the Yaradua's administration that succeeded Obj's.

I became an adviser for the second time in the Jonathan administration which was defeated by the Gen Buhari led APC. Jonathan's defeat was not because of any societal hardship or economic issues. Jonathan's administration led Nigeria to an economically prosperous Nation, taking our GDP to $500B, and an unprecedented number 1 position in Africa. Why Jonathan was "defeated" is another matter entirely which may not be known to u because of your remoteness to the inner core of political power play at that time. This will be a topic for another day.

My associations with Bukola Saraki and Peter Obi is in no way different from your current association with HE Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. All three were presidential aspirants or candidates of different parties at different times. Making any issues out of this is nothing but crass mischief. I am neither a member of the APC nor an adviser of the administration. I appreciate the bold initiatives President Bola Tinubu took to remove fuel subsidy, which was assented to by ALL candidates during the campaign. I also fully support the sectoral equalization of our forex market. Both reforms are responsible for the hardship our people are currently experiencing , but which I believe will be temporary judging by the strenuous efforts the govt is making towards ameliorating them. This not praise singing.

I do not count myself as a member of the opposition, hence I am able to be objective and understandingly supportive. I may not have had a hand in installing this govt but it is my country and I am a stakeholder in it. I do not pray for it to crash or go down. This cannot be an offense. We all are practitioners, players and known actors in this Amphitheater, no need to go personal. Let's keep criticisms rational, mature and professional.

Finally Dele let me publicly acknowledge and appreciate your generosity in granting me that much appreciated debt forgiveness of $20k. I could not afford it! But truly then, I never imagined we could lose that election. However, man proposes but God Almighty ONLY disposes.
My dear Aburo, who I love and adore so much, I wish you well. God bless.

Dele Momodu is just so shameless. His desperation for power through an Atiku presidency has actually made him throw all cautions to the wind to keep attacking people unnecessarily and lying shamelessly.

Must everybody oppose the president? Is it a crime to support the reforms Mr. President is pushing? Did Atiku and Obi not promise to remove subsidy and float the exchange rate? Why are these guys intentionally heating up the polity? Political gains?

Even among thieves, there should be honor. Opposition doesn’t mean madness. We are all stakeholders in Nigeria and we shouldn’t allow charlatans like Dele Momodu to lead the narrative. Sensible and reasonable Nigerians must counter their lies and false narrative at all times.

You increased petrol from 165 naira to 700 naira and you think prayers will produce money from sky for people to use it to buy petrol.

Millions of people have been pushed into poverty by the 'wonderful' policies of Tinubulation.

Tinubu reduced the value of our money by devaluation. That 1 million in your account in May 2023 is now worth less than 400,000 naira.

Dele is the Agbaya here. Okupe’s response to him was very matured without any name calling. Dele Momodu needs to calm down. He’s not the first person to be Atiku’s errand boy and won’t be the last. Fighting people unnecessary won’t get him political appointment.

You guys should stop repeating this same babablu about other candidates promises of subsidy removal.

Didn't Tinubu promise to tackle insecurity? 150 people kidnapped recently in Zamfara, terrorists doing promo up and down.

Trust me Tinubu and his time have zero plans
All there plans have failed and they are shocked beyond reason

We all saw it Buhari handed over the economy to Tinubu and his team from 2015 to 2019 they collapsed the economy

Buhari took it and grew it marginally

Tinubu is a socialist, he can't handle Nigerian economy, he is too tribal and insecure to hire people based on merit

His only hope is to rule with iron Fist

Dele momodu is from Edo north. This are the Lagos boys we detest. Don't be surprised one day, if any of his crock friend became governor then he will know the road to Edo state. No impact to the state. Criticize constructively. All the major candidates agreed to end subsidy immediately and float the naira too. If Atiku have won, he would have been named a minister from Edo state and he is not know to have contributed to the state in any capacity, just like Obaseki and Asue before venturing in politics. Obaseki does not have his own personal residence. He rented the one he currently stay in Ikpokpan axis of GRA. Asue also that have a personal residence too. This are among the many reasons, we don't need Lagos boys again as governors. They are opportunist.

You are the one who is dumb. Subsidy have been removed for a long time, under Obasanjo s tenure for diesel. You show you don't really follows happenings in the country. Am very sure you don't know the definition of subsidy. Diesel prices are always more higher than petrol and he came down a little bit recently when dangote started refining it. Wait till next month as promised by dangote and see if there will not be reduction in Petroleum. Get proper education joor.

Those Obidients clamouring for country are only doing it for self gain. Labour Party has nothing to offer the country. Their activities on nairaland alone show that many of then are bullies and lack common sense. They are only here to castigate and destroy and that's why their target again is to stage bloody protests just to satisfy their evil agenda. But God is bigger than them.
