advanceDNA: I finished secondary school at age 14. So I believe him when he said a 10 year old is possible. I entered JSS1 at age 8 and finished at age 14. Mind you, I went to Ibadan Grammar School. Back then in Ibadan, it was one of the best school and hard one to enter. I got double promotion and used only 3 years in primary school. From Pry 1, they put me to pry2, from pry 2 to pry 4. From pry 4 I did common entrance. I no even use reach 2 years for nursery school. 3 Likes |

advanceDNA: Bro I finished primary school now, it was more than 2 decades. At that era, kids enter secondary school at an older age compared to now that kids enter school at young age. If someone have double promotion in a private school and use only 4 years and did his WAEC in SS1, do you think it’s not possible? Even during my time, people do WAEC in SS2 wella, so why can’t they do in SS1. If he finish primary school at age 6 or 7 and used 3-4 years in secondary school, why is it not possible? 1 Like |

Gajagojo:Thats my problem with you guys o😉. So Naija university resemble Harvard or USA?. Don't u know this thing would make us have strict admission with the European countries because they would think our education is flaw. And if they restrict us now. People like you would still be the first person to blame the government. 1 Like |

Babathanks:Learn how to initiate discourse politely Do not let rudeness and confrontation be your default position You guys? So because I am on Nairaland with you you assume I am your father's mate and you can talk to me anyhow? People have been getting into university aged 13 in Nigeria from the 70s. University of Ife as it used to be known when I went to university was well known for that Countless doctors graduated aged 21 or 20 in the 80s Ifeanyi Okowa graduated as a doctor in 1981 he was born in 1959 it was very common 1 Like |

advanceDNA: Who typed this crap I screen shot? Where did Prof. Ishaq Oloyede ever lied? You just hate the Prof. Ishaq Oloyede and you are only trying to malign him for nothing other than the Mmesoma saga. Many SE have been attacking Prof. Ishaq Oloyede without justification all because he is good at his job and he was able to catch the young crmininal called Mmesoma and he has dismantled all those miracle centres scattered all over the southeast. It's like hating and blaming the police for arresting a rapist just because the rapist is from 1GB0 tribe

“We found that [JAMB] never admitted the candidate because she was underage. The university admitted and registered the candidate Many people are missing this part of the article.. Plus most EU admission age is pegged at 18. I think they should lower the admission age for diploma to 16, this way kids at 16 can complete Diploma course or other Certifications. They can even allow those with diplomas direct entry to YR2 University after completion |
