We are the architect of our own problem is this country by allowing young children in higher institutions. Parent like to rush their children to school, spend millions of naira or dollars without provisions of job after being graduated. There was a case of a girl when I was lin school too , we called the girl portable because of her age and stature. This girl did not finish her first year before she got pregnant.

Don't tie down intelligent children. You are a sadist. I entered University at 16years old over 20 years ago. I did perfectly well. Infact the older they are the more rebellious. The cultists in school were the old ones. The Minister needs to focus more on ensuring ONLY qualified teachers are employed and overhaul the dilapidated school structures all over the country.

I finished secondary school at age 14. So I believe him when he said a 10 year old is possible.

I entered JSS1 at age 8 and finished at age 14. Mind you, I went to Ibadan Grammar School. Back then in Ibadan, it was one of the best school and hard one to enter.

I got double promotion and used only 3 years in primary school. From Pry 1, they put me to pry2, from pry 2 to pry 4. From pry 4 I did common entrance.

I no even use reach 2 years for nursery school.

Yet you still did well. So it's not about the age. If a child is intelligent, let them go. I entered University at 16 and I did very well. 16 is perfect.
