Your hatred for a tribe shouldn't becloud your sense of reasoning. The record of performance of Awolowo remained unbroken throughout the period of Parliamentary government.

From 1999 till date Obj's presidential records remain unrivalled.

I guess these two personalities are from the north or the east?

Awo did well just like Sir Bello in the north and Dr M.I Okpara in the east.

Infact, Okpara did everything that Awo did in the east and made history for Nigeria as the highest producers of Palm oil in the world in the 60's and that's what attracted the Malaysians to south east Nigeria.

I don't know what the south west at that time can boast of as the highest producers in the world for Nigeria, you can Google that anyway.

Awo performed very well for his people no doubt but was over hyped by the south west media as usual which they have the advantage and I want to tell you again that there is nothing done by Awo in the west that Okpara never did double we can fact check it.

And if I may remember, did the so called politicians in the south west saw OBASANJO as their own? Nooooo!

OBASANJO you are claiming now was treated like an orphan in your region and that's why he lost the election even in his polling station.

And please I don't hate any region, I'm just saying what I said based on activities of political leaders in power and out of power.

Do you really mean this?

Do you know the number of expenditure items that are not captured in the Appropriation Act...only to show up later in some supplementary budget to be passed by the yes men in parliament? How many times did Buhari violate the law of this land by printing money through Ways and Means? Did he suffer any consequences?

Sadly, it is one of the easiest things in the world for the Executive in Nigeria to spend money on items that are not in the budget, without any political or legal consequences. That is the reality.

You can call it an 'intervention'. I call it a subsidy...because that's what it is.

Check the records for the last 14 months. The landing cost of imported petrol has exceeded the local pumphead price. I haven't even bothered to check but I know I'm right. The numbers will show you that landing costs have been 'too high' (your words) for the past 15 months. When will the costs stop being 'too high' so that this 'intervention' will cease? undecided

By definition, isn't an intervention a temporary, short term action?

There has been a partial removal of fuel subsidy. That much is clear. The big question now is whether the 'gain' from this partial subsidy removal will offset the inflationary costs it has imposed on the broader economy...and my belief is "no it won't".

The administration kicked off with a fuel subsidy removal policy and an fx unification (aka floating exchange rate) policy...and the same administration is still subsidizing petrol imports and taking loans to defend the Naira. undecided

It isn't adding up. Why does BAT pretend to be a free market zealot when he clearly isn't? undecided

For argument's sake I'll accept your claims about this administration and its interventions. The administration (by your own admission) intervenes in the fuel import business...and those interventions are still ongoing. The administration also (again, in your words) temporarily intervenes in the fx market to enhance liquidity. Do these interventions have a sunset clause or not?

Perhaps, just perhaps...those jumbo loans from Afrexim and its likes may have something to do with this? Maybe those loans are propping up your currency (for now at least) and your reserves are not under pressure (for now)...
