Obi did not decamp to a ruling party. Obi left PDP when Atiku who earlier decamped to APC returned to PDP to continue with his unending search to become president of Nigeria; and was reading to buy PDP presidential ticket with his immense wealth.

Choosing to fight Oshiomhole openly was a huge mistake. A choleric like Oshiomhole will never trust him again. Philip is going to have to pave his own political path to the top alone onward.
