I think I remember the one of ebonylife
IMO only kunle afolayan or Tunde kelani are capable of producing something close because of their love for yoruba culture
Well Kunle Afolayan has already explored the intricacies of Old Oyo empire politics in Anikulapo Series...Atleast scratching the surface and that is a good start.

This is why The Boys S4 is the weakest season yet

Too many slow burn, filler episodes and irrelevant sub-plots.

The finale was great.

But I need the final season to be a banger from start to finish.

None of these slow set up and filler sub-plots, we're done with all that.

Good start una..man it's 2024 and this industry more than 30 years old and yet we still can't tell proper stories about our rich history and culture. The industry is like a cult, with production and money going round the same set of people, and they would rather make a shabby representation of our history and pocket the money alone, than hire actual creatives that would do an excellent job.

Circa "The Woman King" (2022). The movie was the story of an the Old Oyo Empire and Dahomey, but you could instantly tell the production was top tier and most likely foreign because of the fantastic set designs, props, cinematography and what not...they were basically telling our stories, way better than us.

Tired of hearing, "Nollywood don dey try small small" BS, They should be trying big as of now....These nvggas should actually be doing way better

Those about to die episode 1 and 2 are a solid 9.5/10 for me.

If you are not watching this new series titled "those about to die" then you are missing.
Just finished episode two and it's been premium entertaining so far.

A worthy series in the category of Spartacus, Rome etc.
The cinematographer, picture, deep plots, politics in only two episodes i have watched have blown my mind away.

Let me continue the series.
The series is just another low budget Spartacus. With their poor cgi

The Acolyte is a complete let down. The only thing worth watching is the saber duels, aside that, everything is bland.

Hmmmm.... I guess it's time to ditch the show? 3 episodes downloaded, just watched one and half.

Almost every discourse I see about it has been negative or underwhelming online.
