All we can do is feel sorry for them as their whole being is filled with hate, from when they wake up till when they sleep, that bitterness follows them around and stops anything positive happening in their lives.

But they are doing better than you, aren't they ?

I am running my own race, let them run their own.

I don't believe the figures either. The below is from earlier in the year right before the Government flushed about $1.2 billion down the drain in the name of shoring up the Naira. Note the date - March 18th. This is July 21st, approximately 4 months, or should I say 3 months after the dump. undecided

Lawmaker scores Lagos Water Corporation low

A Lagos State lawmaker, Mr Saka Fafunmi, on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction at the performance of the state Water Corporation.

Fafunmi, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), said in Ikeja that the corporation had not been able to justify statutory allocations to it.

The lawmaker, who represents Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 1 at the assembly, spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He said that the corporation had the capacity to generate much fund internally through water rates but had relied solely on government funding because of poor performance.

'' Anyone that is using water will be willing to pay for it; the corporation has not been giving us water.

"Is there any new community that Water Corporation has given water? People depend on boreholes; even government estates have industrial boreholes.

"Why do we keep pumping money into an agency that does not give us the desired results?'' he asked.

He noted that the Adiyan Waterworks was located at Ifako-Ijaiye, where many of the residents had resorted to digging boreholes as a means of getting water.

''A lot of people are falling sick because they don't drink clean water.

''In the same compound, where you have sewage, is where you have a borehole.

''There is no way you can manage the sewage that it will not leak and pollute the water; everyone drinking such is drinking contaminated water,'' he said.

The lawmaker urged the corporation to increase water reticulation and supply to residents.

It is clear you are clueless
The Central Bank is not the government it is a bank
If It sold $1.2 billion simply means it exchanged that for naira
The naira is a promissory note of the CBN in other words the Naira is a CBN debt and if you have any Naira the CBN IS OBLIGED to settle you when you turn up.

The CBN buying naira. REGULARLY is the only way to assure those holding naira that it has value

Many of you spout ignorant and emotional nonsense deluding yourselves that you are sensible

The last time we where at this level of reserve, the dollar was up at least 1700+. This is where some high-level macroeconomic engineering will have to be done by Cardoso, that is, if he's intellectually savvy and has the tactical nous to pull this off...At 1500+ to the Dollar at this level of reserve liquidity, it's time to buy up more Naira off of the system whilst tightening or raising the interest rate, the target should be to plunge the naira down to 1300+ and still have a relatively higher external reserve than we had earlier this year when the dollar was at 1300. This macroeconomic tactic should allow for more room to still plunge the dollar south towards the 1000 naira benchmark. Hoping that all macroeconomic conditions and variables remain constant.
Increasing the interest rate at this moment of sluggish economic growth will further worsen the capacity of the economy to create employment and expand the volume of production.

Mr Bronze medal isn't giving anybody nightmares, no one considers him a threat. He is an also ran irritant that was swatted like an ordinary fly by the big boiz.

It's his rabid followers called Obidients that wouldn't let us rest by dragging him to front and centre.

What we need from Mr Third place right now is to release his election expenses as promised. We thought he was different and whiter than white but he has shown us he is like the rest, making promises that he has no intentions of keeping.

The only heist that occurred in the last elections is the one that occurred in South East with the abnormally high votes for Peter Obi. You are right on one thing though, you no fit take hand cover belle.

Too much attention is being paid to the value of the dollar at the expense of building the capacity of the economy. See, if u want to ruin an economy, concentrate on the macro-variables and pay less attention on micro- indices. It is very deceptive to seek an over-valued currency when the level of domestic economy can not sustain it. U are just playing to the gallery.

The money did not disappear it was sold in exchange for naira

This is not about rabid impotent emotions

It is pure logic
Also it is nothing to do with the government it is a central bank issue
You obviously don't know what foreign reserves are maybe you 5hink they are government funds or government savings

Just keep quiet and stop barking the issue is above your brain capacity

Denied what?

What do I claim
I am not making any claim
Because I don't have any figures just responding to what is said here

Any money that is said whatever the figure was used to defend the naira simply means it was exchanged for naira
That is all I am saying
If you are saying money was stolen and simply disappeared that is a totally different thing
I have no knowledge of that
The onus is on you to provide evidence
