There's no letter , even from your university's vice chancellor that will make them consider you if you don't fall under Category A. When the waiting time was less than a year around 2021, people did send such emails and it worked. Right now, they won't even reply to your email. I'll advise you source for Benin republic Residence permit and continue your enrolment, after 4 months, you can apply for visa. Before your visa is due, it will be 6 months.

Option two is to finish enrolment then apply for the Deutschlandstipendum. Unfortunately, you won't have a transcript

This is how it works in Germany concerning citizenship, students cannot get Permanent Residency if they have B1 after school, you have to graduate and get work permit called 18b or 18d, if the job pays high you get EU blue card and work for two years or for blue card 18 months before you apply for PR, secondly you cannot qualify for German citizenship by having C1 and graduating from school, you must transit into work permit, get PR to apply. 3 years is for those married to German or come to Germany on EU blue card or 18b start working immediately and transit to PR and having C1 already, they can apply for citizenship after 3 years.Time of student period count but you must have work permits then work for two years to qualify for PR then apply for citizenship, as a student you can’t achieve this in 3 years.

That other requirements is working atleast two years on Blue card, 18b or 18d, voluntary work, without having PR you can apply but if you have live and work in Germany for two years you are qualified for PR . After application for citizenship it will take at least 1 to 2 years for processing, why not convert the work permit to PR so that you will have freedom to choose any work or business you want to do while waiting for processing period.

What do you think special achievement is, if not part of tax payment, volunteer, special athlete etc, you must have contributed something for that 3 years which qualify you for PR benchmark, so I know what I am telling you, student who studies for 4 years cannot qualify for German citizenship even having C1, you must convert your student visa to work permit.

If it's an online test, you can probably click the link to see if you can take the test although the deadline has passed. If it's possible, then go ahead and take the test. After which, you can write the school and explain.

It's an online test and the link closed after 18th, I've written a mail to the school but I'm yet to get a feedback.

German schools are very critical about deadlines. So prepare your mind that they might not give you another chance.

I see that you've sent them an email. Send them a reminder today and every 3 days until they answer you. When they do, I can advise you based on their response

Please I want to know if there are fully funded German scholarships (masters) Nigerians can benefit from, that also covers some other expenses like travel cost and maybe housing.
I know of ptdf (Nigerian) but I heard they only allow their scholars to stay back, if they get an actual (full-time) job in the country at the end of their program. I know getting a job is not impossible, but it's not really certain one would.
I know DAAD is nice too, but it requires at least two years of working experience, that I don't have.

I was quite surprised because the man I met was the one I’d heard so much about and had been praying not to meet but as my luck would have it he was the one. I was just Lucky he happened to be training a new security guard so he probably didn’t look at the date on the pass and just collected both the document and the pass from me. 🥹😆😆

Gaining admission is the first and most important. Reason been that without admission your visa request is not possible. You will not gain access into the Embassy/Consulate without without providing an admission letter from a university in Germany. I will attach a checklist link below.
Secondly the amount to block is 11,208€ as of 2024 and not 8,000€. I don't know if you can use MPOWER loan but source of funds is usually verified.
Cat A and Cat B are related to securing Appointment at the Embassy in other to process your visa request.
Cat A:
holding a letter of admission for PHD studies or
holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class issued no more than TWO years ago and having been accepted to a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program) or PhD study in Germany or
holding a scholarship financed from German public funds or European supported funds for a study or a PhD in Germany or
holding a signed “Aufnahmevereinbarung” / hosting agreement concerning your research fellowship with a university or research institute accepted by the “BAMF”.
Category A receives Appointment Date (AD) within 2-3 weeks of booking Appointment.
Category B:
For those that made 2.1, 2.2, etc... are in Category B. The waiting time is 18-21 months.

I recently completed my undergraduate studies with a CGPA of 4.02/5. I am preparing to apply to German universities for my master’s degree, and eventually pursue a PhD. Since Germany requires a master’s degree before pursuing a PhD, I have several questions that I need clarified:

It's not 18 months. It's currently 22 months. Those who booked Sept 2022 are yet to get appointment (exception goes to 1st to 5th ). That's 22 months , and it's counting

Mpower service universities in US and Canada. They pay directly to the school. For Germany, you're not paying tuition. The current amount for block account is 11,208. Starting from sept 2024, it will be €11,900.

If you can get a loan that will allow you block the amount, the embassy doesn't care. Understand that you'll only get €934 from this amount monthly for 12 months while you're in Germany which serve as living expenses.
