Falena pls shut up I mean shut da f c k!!! We will never engage obi and obidients in dialogue, never.

This is not endsars scenario this is politics. In Endsars I was among the organiser in peaceful plan before obi, kanu Aisha yesuf, and ipob hijacked it and started burning Lagos and Benin but this one is politics I'm not LP nor obidient neither ipob and so thousands of us, so no one can force himself on us simply he lost election we will kill them all if they make any attempt to burn anybody property or destroy anybody property. You can't push me into he street when I knew its all about bitterness you lost in an election, who does that?

Falani should be arrest for accepting he knows how obi and his crooks contacting each other that is a treason statement.

Let's face each other and let's settle this out once for all and let everyone go home with his injury.

Sincerely...
Though I think and know oppositions are the ones fueling the protest.

But people ( the masses) are truly suffering for real at the highest point ever

Any Tinubu/APC supporters trying to bash the proposed protest and protesters is either getting from the embezzlement by the minority or just a useless miserable being.

The short term solution now I believe is.... Tinubu should just address the nation and monitor delivery of food lorries to Every local governments by himself from a control room.

And the public distributions to the people openly like the inec polling registrations and all style of openness

Then after that, he can then pump money on real agricultural process the same way as well.

A mother is flogging her child non stop and when the childs open mouth to cry out loud ... you feel the neighbours are the ones that instigate the cry ... really

So with the current rate of Inflation, do you know how much ibnow spend to fuel my car in a week .. and you think i need PDP or LP to beg me to join a protest or call the govt out

we are not almajaris or beggars that will be waiting for 2cups of rice, you give us rice .. gas, pepper, meat/fish, oil do you know how much any of that now cost abi we go dey chop raw rice nii

Some of you are just unbelievable, what baffles me is that you are educated

Racoon:

".....The current state of Nigeria is dire. Hardship is suffocating us, and many are dying from hunger. The time for action is now. We, the Nigerian youths, must come together and exercise our right to protest. It's our duty to demand change, to demand a better life.

For too long, we've been silenced, intimidated, and deceived. Our leaders have failed us, and it's time we hold them accountable. The protest is not just a call to action; it's a cry for help, a plea for our leaders to listen and act.

We're not just protesting against the government; we're protesting against a system that perpetuates inequality, injustice, and corruption. We're protesting against a system that allows our leaders to live in luxury while we struggle to survive.

The protest is not just about us; it's about our future, our children's future, and the future of Nigeria. We owe it to ourselves, our families, and our country to demand a better life.

Racoon I thought you said that Igbos will not join the protest?

Threats or no threats, progress is still being made.

The government is focused on delivering results, and those who truly want change should engage positively rather than protest negatively.

Let's support constructive dialogue instead!

Well, for those of you who choose to die in silence, we can only congratulate you. BAT/Buhari along with the same Femi Falana and others chose not to die in silence in 2012. The chose the path of occupying Nigeria and save the country then. Hunger has no business with constructive dialogue. A mistake made twice becomes a habit. If in one day, one man’s pronouncement turned the nation upside down and the same man weeks later made another statement making life more difficult for citizens, what would you call that?

“The government is focused on delivering results..”. We already have seen the results and the results further impoverish citizens.

For those who like the same BAT/Buhari, who choose not to die in silence, we say thank you very much.

The national assembly has declared recess to resume in September. I believe they want to fly out of the country to escape the looming dark clouds. But they should know they can run but can not hide.

is protest constitutional or not?

Has Nigeria ever witnessed the types of food price hike, and soaring cost of living she is currently facing?

Fuel is unreachable, electricity tariff is up, dollar has turned out millionaires into beggars.

Don't you have shame or a little integrity?

Whatever pittance you're receiving now can't support you and your family for 4 years before this failing government replaces you with another cheap hireling.

They think they can cow everybody. The good news about the planned protest is, the protest is being engineered by the northerners, so it is difficult to suppress them unlike if the organisers are from the southern states. The northerners no dey hear come o when you direct them to go. They must finish the course and get satisfied with it before they hear any other contrary voice.
Let those that think they can silent dissenting voices of the southerners should continue while they meet their waterloo in the hands of the dreaded northerners that they fear most.

Anyone who wants to protest should do so but anyone found distrupting the peace of our society or even attacking citizens protesting or not must not be spared any peace by the law enforcers of the land.

AN OPEN LETTER TO FEMI FALANA - (SAN)

Dear Sir,

I wish to use this medium to appeal to you to use your crystal ball to see the palpable tension in the land!

Nigeria is on tenterhooks at the moment arising from several critical challenges besetting us as a people.

The way things stand, any attempt at embarking on a protest, no matter how peaceful it is, could easily degenerate into a conflagration of unimaginable proposition.

Nigerians have the right to peacefully protest but, where there are sufficient evidence that it could snowball into a "roforofo fight", it's advisable to apply discretion instead of sheer valour.

We cannot afford to burn down the country in a fit of anger, no matter how justifiable.

I expect you as a renowned personality to douse the tension rather than exacerbating it.

It's an ill wind and, surely, won't blow any good.

I therefore crave your indulgence to calm frayed nerves.

Let me conclude with the cliche - a stitch in time saves nine.

Yours sincerely,

@hotseat

There's no one fueling more division than those profiling the protest to a section of the country, as if they are not bothered or feigned ignorance of the hunger in the land. Those ones are the most insensitive, unreasonable and unpatriotic elements in the country that are fueling division and creating army of potential rioters, bandits, Boko Haramists and militants.
