We would have seen headlines that Travellers were kidnapped if not for timely intervention by well meaning truck drivers.

The Abuja Lokoja road was blocked by heavily armed bandits whose intent was to carry out kidnapping.

From the video, you can see that all cars were parked by the road, far from where the would have been abducted. The person narrating said that the weapons carried by the officers were no match for what the bandits have hence they could not engage them.

The Government should be more proactive to secure the citizens.

IGP Egbetokun you see that you don't even know your constitutional responsibility? This is where the intelligence of the famous CID/FIB or Police Special Branch ought to have infiltrate the den of these treasonable bandits cum terrorists to eliminate this menace.

But your obsession is protesters demanding good governance from the failed government your are trying in futility to entrench. SMH!

It's their right to block the highway...!

After all, our leaders gave them the room and license.

If we took security as seriously as we are castigating the planned protests, such embarrassing news won't surface.

Meanwhile, the IGP is in Abuja telling journalists that insecurity has become a thing of the past.

Giving ransom by the government,
Poor ammunitions for the force men and
Government sponsored terrorism for security votes are the main challenges aiding the level of insecurity in Nigeria.
Apart from humiliating unarmed citizens, our soldiers are able to handle insecurity in Nigeria if given the proper welfare and good ammunitions

Day time kidnapping in Nigeria is now like the normal thing we see on our home movies.

I cannot imagine how dare devil these people are.

With God, all things are possible. Prayers can move mountains if you believe.

Pray and give glory to the Almighty God.
