If you are a frequent traveller....
These events are normal occurrences...
A journey of a day takes 2 or 3 days
Cos of bandits and armed robbers on the road....
Once its 8.00pm in some axis ...
Its better to park your car and find a place to spend the nite
And continue your journey the next day....
that's what we've been doing now

IGP Egbetokun you see that you don't even know your constitutional responsibility? This is where the intelligence of the famous CID/FIB or Police Special Branch ought to have infiltrate the den of these treasonable bandits cum terrorists to eliminate this menace.

But your obsession is protesters demanding good governance from the failed government your are trying in futility to entrench. SMH!
You mind the dumb old man?

We would have seen headlines that Travellers were kidnapped if not for timely intervention by well meaning truck drivers.

The Abuja Lokoja road was blocked by heavily armed bandits whose intent was to carry out kidnapping.

From the video, you can see that all cars were parked by the road, far from where the would have been abducted. The person narrating said that the weapons carried by the officers were no match for what the bandits have hence they could not engage them.

The Government should be more proactive to secure the citizens.

At this stage well equipped drone should be deployed there for proper view of the target , eliminate them, or military helicopter. It's well

Don't mind our political generals.
The man even said security is really good in the country now.
Then they rushed to national assembly to stop his retirement this September.

To stop banditry and Boko haram phenomenon,
dvide Nigeria into more manageable countries such that the Sharia states will start to implement fully the now unconstitutional sharia criminal justice system they've adopted.
Bandits and armed herdsmen are offshoots of Boko Haram fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system, just like the way the Taliban did in Afghanistan 🇦🇫.

Giving ransom by the government,
Poor ammunitions for the force men and
Government sponsored terrorism for security votes are the main challenges aiding the level of insecurity in Nigeria.
Apart from humiliating unarmed citizens, our soldiers are able to handle insecurity in Nigeria if given the proper welfare and good ammunitions

These are available to them

The question is, are the leaders (military) ready to end this their money-bringing venture?

The religious and political leaders of the far north states who adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws in the sharia states can never frown at banditry until Islamic Republic of Nigeria is achieved. Rather blame the political leaders from the non Muslim south of Nigeria who are still tying the people they lead to one Nigeria. People can't travel in Nigeria again without fear of being kidnapped by bandits. What other country is like Nigeria? None.

Onanuga and co would not tell their bosses the truth that more people are dying daily from hunger than form even insecurity and road accidents.
They are ready to deface the commonwealth with series of lies, in order to win their allowances.

For those siding with the government in this trying times.

Hope u have bought ur gun to defend ur paymasters on August 1st.

It's their right to block the highway...!

After all, our leaders gave them the room and license.

If we took security as seriously as we are castigating the planned protests, such embarrassing news won't surface.

Meanwhile, the IGP is in Abuja telling journalists that insecurity has become a thing of the past.

Where agbadorians I wish God will direct all the evil of this country to those who brought in and supported this government. I knew if it's going to be Tinubu of APC who brought about the he Buhari regime, that there will be nothing new. It will be business as usual and even worst. But a set of Nigerians failed to reason beyond tribe and religion. Just one year in office and things are this worst. I have not traveled for a long time cuz of the news I hear almost every week of kidnap and banditry. May God give Nigerians sense

Wow! That's good to know.

Sometimes I wish Nigeria can go back to the way it was in the mid 90s to mid 2000s.
