Conference organizer provides accommodation that is very good for your visa application as well. I am looking for one of those conference. Did you submit abstracts for the conference? Thank you. deltafly: |

deltafly: You see If bank statement is needed, there's a special section for POF/Asset but since you already in possession of a valid US visa, all those documents are not needed. Can+ straight, which automatically qualified you for a visa |

Hello Fam Please help me o🙏🏽 I want to reapply for Canada visa after I was denied in 2019. The reasons for the denial was family ties and my purpose of visit appears vague and poorly documented which was through an agent. Now at the point of reapplying myself, I just noticed the agent filled in wrong names for my parents😩. Please do I just leave it? or I correct them and leave it like that possibly they don’t notice? Note: my marriage certificate carries my father’s correct name Please I need advice. Is this going to ruin my application? Anyone with similar experience? I have travel history to UK, Spain (visa 2twice), France, Germany |

Put more into the place weh dem send u, put the name correctly and no i wouldn't back it up with affidavit. You can if you want to, but me I wont. My main issh would be my bank statement, reason for going to Canada, my profile , you know all other documents. Marriage docs, photos, land doc, but I wont put affidavit to be correcting parents name for old application, your parent names were not the reason for d refusal in 2019 .lol Sholzyy: 2 Likes |

Lols I get your points too but my fear for such person is when they carry that mentality because I can assure you that a lot of people normalize such wrong habits when it works for them once or twice. They even call it grace. I know a student who was working more than the stipulated student hours doing Uber and not even going to classes. IRCC caught him when he wanted to apply for PGWP. He was denied and asked to leave Canada immediately that his aim was never to come and study. Danger of doing wrong is you may just become use to it and abroad is not Nigeria, you will be caught and pay for it dearly. I encourage everyone to try as much as possible to do things rightly because it pays in the long run. Ibrahim8358: 2 Likes |

I applied for study permit and VV for my spouse. Study permit approved and spouse VV is still pending. Has anyone seen this scenario before? How long did it take? Thank you! |

Is Insurance and Police certificate needed for Canada VV? |

Yeezy24: Some people have had similar situations recently since the no SOWP restriction started. Unless you are a master's or PhD student, your spouse does not qualify for SOWP. IRCC is sometimes slow with the visitor visa application for the spouse of a student, but not in all situations. Sometimes it processes like a normal visitor visa application that could take six months, and there is no guarantee it will be accepted or rejected. Congratulations on your study permit. |

Biometrics done August 4th 2023, No response yet! Anyone with same issues? From IRCC Don’t send a new application. The longer you’ve been waiting, the closer you are to the front of the line. We’ll contact you if we need more information. You don’t need to do anything else. |

EnglishUsa: I understand the more time your application takes, the higher your chances of approval. If the application was not going to be approved, it would have been thrown out long ago.. usually 3weeks - 1month latest |

Greets house that my Gcms note I requested last two months has finally come out with every down documents used, the reason for de refusal ws insufficient finance and assets, and the agent I used on this application stated that the company where I work as marketer will sponsor me for every down expenses on that sponsor's letter and the agent I used, stated that de company will sponsor abt 5 of us which i don't others in the same application. I want to know if I sold some of my properties to fund my bank account and back it up that I sold one of my properties, then i will say i have business here in Nigeria that my sells boy will be looking after it till i come back from my travel, i don't know if it's okay house? Pls I need advise on how to reapply again. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 12:36pm On Jul 25 |
xzeal10: Many things are changing, and now it's even the other way around: the longer your processing time, the less the chance of approval. I remember last year, people who applied for conference visas got visas even after the conference date. But now they are being refused under "purpose of travel" when I see a GCMS note that states the purpose of travel is already invalid. Even for those who applied on time, the GCMS note just pastes the same "purpose of travel and finance or Insufficient Assets" without explanation, compared to the more detailed student visa GCMS note! |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 12:41pm On Jul 25 |
Ndubestjude: Stating that you sold your property to fund your account specifically for a visitor visa is a red flag. Remember, it's a visitor visa, not a student visa, which could have a long-term impact on your life because selling some property to fund education is usually more accepted. It's important to show that you have a stable financial situation and strong ties to your home country. Selling property just to fund your account for a visitor visa application might raise concerns about your intentions. 2 Likes |
