POLICE OFFICER ALLEGEDLY SHOTS COLLEAGUE ON DUTY IN ASABA. The CEO of Golden Tulip Hotel, Asaba, Ekwe Ogidi, is allegedly behind a violent land-grabbing incident in Asaba that resulted in the destruction of property worth millions of Naira and the shoot!ng of a police officer on official duty. According to sources, Ekwe Ogidi is accused of sending hoodlums and police officers from the Anambra State Command to a property belonging to a popular real estate company in Asaba at approximately 1:00 AM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. When the company’s officials and some police officers arrived on the scene, they questioned the trespassers about their actions and who had sent them. During this confrontation, one of the rogue officers sh0t a police officer and attempted to sh00t others before being overpowered by the legitimate officers. Some of the hoodlums escaped, but others were arrested. The vehicles they came with, including bulldozers, charms, and dangerous weap0ns, were recovered and impounded. Documents for the impounded Toyota Hilux vans revealed that Ekwe Ogidi owned the vehicles. During interrogation, the officer who sh0t the police officer claimed that Ekwe Ogidi, the CEO of Golden Tulip Hotel, Asaba, had sent them to cause malicious damage and terrorize people conducting legitimate business. The Delta State Police Command is currently investigating the matter. Pictures and videos are attached to this report. Citizens are calling on the Inspector General of Police and the Commissioners of Police for Delta and Anambra States to investigate these illegal police actions. They also urge the arrest and investigation of the notorious land grabber, Ekwe Ogidi, to prevent further threats and havoc in Delta State. MossadAgent: Very senseless comment from someone who has no knowledge of the areas talked about. Do not use social media as a place to make reckless and unfounded comments. One day you will be humiliated beyond your imagination. 3 Likes |
